also i was born with small parts of vitiligo but it spread down my leg and it started below my stomach sooo its incredibly self esteem destroying so ive had it all my life and i truly am grateful for ur videos!! :) thank you so much for these videos its inspiring to know that theres people like you who didnt just sit there and take it like i did :/ u went out and found a way to beat it :D thank you im going to find all of this make up! :D im so happy ^-^!!
i have vitiligo on my leg and im coming up16 so it sucks -___- its made me really body concious :/ wearing shorts going swimming u begin to get used to the looks u get and questions like "did u get burnt" and another "does it hurt"and "what is it" and my fav(because im quite olive skined to) "do u wear fake tan because its coming of" :L no one understands if u say noooo its just where i dont have pigments :/ im really grateful for ur videos! :) thank you soo much :) im getting all of that! :D
@JenniferC213 Hey Jennifer! Happy Holidays! Thank you so much for your comments, this really does motivate me to make more videos. This leg makeup video does work for me but not on everyone. I created a second video where I demonstrate how to apply a different type of makeup on to the legs. I plan on making 2 more leg videos in the future as well, one w/ microskin and another with another makeup.

i got vitiligo when I was about 5 or 6 and it never really mattered to me until last summer when I couldnt even wear a swimsuit. I have vitiligo on my neck, hands, knees, under my stomach.., and my feet I'm so insecure and I wish that I could make it disapear! But this video give me hope that I can look like those gorgeous tan models thank you so much! I ordered everything and I hope that I begin to feel beatiful again.. it's been way to long!
@chloebrown333 Thank you! Please keep in mind that this may not work well on everyone. For me, because I have naturally a olive tone to my skin I need to use green concealer to create a more natural look. For others blue concealer may work better because blue will neutralize orange undertones. I had made an update version of this video because I'm always trying to find better ways to apply makeup. If you would like you may check that video. Anyway, if you need help let me know.

maybe a quick solution is to use a spray tan machine? i have a little bit of Vitiligo and spray tan pretty much covers it up.. just use a bit of a darker shade? x worth a try
i dont have vitilico but i have a huge cut on my leg i felll down rollerblading and i use the spray it stays on it comes off only if i wash it off not even if i swet =]

@edgarsanchez1904 Don't do that. The process your talking about is called depigmentation. It would leave you with no melanin at all, and therefore, that would'nt be a skin color but just a lack of it. You should apply oxaxoralen, which brings back pigment...

My 7 year old daughter has vitiligo all over her one leg and has some on her back. at the moment it don't bother her she says it's part of her but the only thing is when she gets older and the comments come from other children, i only hope she don't let them bother her then.

I have Vitiligo, im 13 years old. I just got this When i was 11, And im having a rough time in school, all the name calling, and stuff like that. But my mother tells me Im beaautiful on the inside. I hope shes right haha. But i use a Tanning sprayy. it works A little bit. but This video inspires me:) i might try this out. You look beautifull!!!

Kids can be cruel and this is mainly because they don't understand what vitiligo is and because they are dealing with their own insecurities. People who make negative comments about other people normally have tons of problems themselves, and so their negativity comes from their own insecurities. Don't bother listening to them because what they say is not real or true. You are perfect the way you are.

would this work if my leg color is cafe au lait, i tried applying foundation then setting it with bronzer. But it's so much work, cause the pigmentation on my leg still show. So should i always use a green concealer? and does the dermablend setting power make it non-sticky ! thank you !!!
@0HWINNIE I'm currently remaking this video. Hopefully by tomorrow I will be able to film and put up the new video. Its going to be allot easier to recreate and blend better. I'm in the process of changing my set up for filming which explains the delay in putting up the new video. I apologize for any inconvenience.
@DestineeSoto make sure to test it out on a small section first before applying to the entire desired area. Also, if this method does not work try mixing the green concealer with the tanner to find a color that works better with your pigmentation BEFORE applying it to the desired area.
@maj1126 I'm planning on makeup a video for people for lighter skin tones. This may or may not work for you because you appear fair in your pic. BTW, this is not waterproof. I plan on investing allot of time in reaching makeup that can endure the water.

@fufa4672 Awww! I like your train of thought! This is something I am going to look into. But until then I would recommend using a primer to counteract the darker areas before applying foundation. Refer to color wheel for assistance. For example RED and GREEN are opposes on the color wheel and will counteract each other. To neutralize the hyperpigmentation you will need to know the undertone color of the hyperpigmentation to pick out the right primer.
@jackieontheweb No, I do not wear this on a daily basis. However, I wear this makeup for special occasions. Currently, I am trying to find an alternative for this look, as it is not waterproof and does take a long time to complete which can be a royal pain.
