  • truly lovely! can't even describe with words!

  • 1st time I heard this was in Nodame Cantabile and I instantly fell in love with this piece

  • maravilloso

  • Why isn't there a "love" button here? For me, this piece isn't just like but it's love.

  • can someone plz tell me, is this equal to grade 8 or ATCL in Trinity exam? thanks

  • Beethoven once said "in heaven i shall hear!"

  • Such a genius. The music is terrific!!!

  • Chiaki-senpai X Mine-kun : Nodame Cantabile

soooooo beautiful Anime and si beautiful Classic music <3

  • i miss when the cartoons use classical music as soundtrack, like tom and jerry and some disney cartoons

  • This song is my favorite one!!!

  • I'm 13, and I see the art of classical music. It's joy to my ears.

  • @mallorie1998 hey, me too! I thought i was alone as the only teen that loves classical.

  • @musicrocks1019 Nope. I'm here too!

  • @mallorie1998 13 awsome lets chat

  • i wish i could see maestro beethoven and teach me to play his songs. :/

  • I don't know how many times I've heard this, my mum plays the violin and she is always playing this :)

  • I wanted to listen to this to concentrate but i can't keep my head still, let alone my hands :L This is 100% better than commercial music :)

  • got into classical because of nodame cantabile I play trumpet put learning piano and violin

  • I started to love classical music after listening unintentionally the "Spring Sonata".I just fell in love with it.

  • This is great!!! I love classical music! I discovered this today after my violin teacher told me to learn this! I have not stopped listening to it since!

  • vfvfffff

  • It doesnt have to. Only those who love their own life, and don't want to let the media money makers take their money, time, and lives eventually, from them for gain will go towards that essence in themselves that makes them greatness... Fads die. People who create those fads and make money off of others doing it, will die also...but greatness like Beethoven, Twain, Nietsche, and so many more live in the hearts of those who love their own greatness... Create yourself!

  • @glorys9 I like how you include Twain and Nietsche into that list of "greatness" instead of the popularly chosen Mozart or Chopin, and I mean that in an unsarcastic way.

  • like this if u like this song

  • Fascinante!!!

  • How does this help me concentrate? It doesn't...

  • performance exam next week! yo

  • perfect interpretation! ALEGRO! dynamic! like the colors of youth, the nuances are accurate. I wonder why Oliver is not so famous? he is a really master of the felling.

  • I would never have guessed Beethoven composed this if i were given it blind!

  • and i was wondering if that violin is the Stradivarius model one... cuz it sounds beautiful

  • like if Nodame Cantabille lead you to here =D

  • @miguelkinomoto Mine-kun did an amazing job on this one

  • @YondyKazeKage Yes, he did. I love Mine-kun ;) But Chiaki-kun is better than Mine in violin

  • Amazing :)

  • jjajajjajaese beethoven siempre todo un poeta !

  • i don t know if beethoven was deaf when he wrote this piece of art but i know that 7 people are deaf for sure and justin bieber s lovers....

  • awesome!

  • awesome!

  • I love the spring. Comfortable temperatures, no bugs, lots of competitions to win.

I love the spring sonata. Good balance betwenn violin and piano, beautiful, yet not too slow.

  • @sxz1997 YES!

  • Whoever's playing this needs to put more resin on their bow.

  • Comment removed

  • beethoven... a genial bastard :))

  • was he deaf?!

  • @leedonaldt yes, but only for a few years before his death

  • @alexatornrose oh wow

  • @alexatornrose although his hearing was very very poor at this time.

  • @alexatornrose "A few years" 29 to be exact.

  • @alexatornrose HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • @alexatornrose Although his deafness did not come on suddenly and progressed throughout his life, he was mostly deaf near the middle of his life. Despite this being the case, he composed many of his many influential works in the latter part of his life

  • @leedonaldt when he composed his 9th symphony, he was completely deaf. That's really impressive!

  • Out of 10 violin sonatas he composed, this one probably is the most recognizable. Even though they are dubbed violin sonatas, in fact the piano assumes a heavier role, same for Mozart’s. Maybe it’s a feature unique to the Classical period. In general his music is either stately or very powerful. This piece is quite tender and soft showing the other end of his composition spectrum. What time can be more seasonal listening to this than when we are actually in spring now. Superb quality. A+

  • Soothing. :) I really like classical music. I come to love it ever since I started watching anime shows that has classical music, i really came to love it.

  • Beethoven is Dionysus!

  • Oh... what a beautiful song. It makes me want to pick up my violin....

  • @Yoganut319 haha me too!

  • i love it

  • alguien tiene lapartitura de esta hermosa sonata??

  • I feel like I've heard this before - has some of the piano pieces been used in Roger Rabbit when you had donald duck and another near the start squaring up on their pianos?

  • @HannahsCreation That was the Hungarian Rhapsody no. 2 by Liszt ;)

and imo, you ALWAYS feel like you've heard Beethoven's music before, and it's probably because you have; in heaven.

  • do these modern rap/rip/hip/hop/bip/crip or whatever performers really believe they have talent? i think they know they have no talent. only classical music lasts forever.

  • Seriously, you can appreciate something without bashing another thing.

  • this goes straight to favourites!

  • This song comes out in the anime 'Nodame Cantabile'! I just love classical and anime to be together! I love Mozart and Chopin songs too!

  • lovely! Love classical music!

  • good comment. but you have a small cock.

  • this is so beautiful. if only modern music like rap and hip hop hadn't taken over our society. :(

  • lol, it takes no talent to write. just get a generic beat/tune, get rihanna or kanye to "sing it", and you've got yourself a multi-million seller

  • Yeap, it's takes no talent and no brains to make it in the music industry nowadays.

  • lets not say things we cant regret, there are some good bands and writers, consider the film music industry, and game music (we all love the mario theme!)

  • I'm sorry but s much as I would love to be wrong, I stand by what i said. Many of today's music is cra. Of course there are good bands and good writers out there, but unfortunately they are not given many chances to let their work be known.

  • @Monkeyboy92037 Dont forget, Beethoven is now 239 years old, and we still love his music, in 20 years, most of them people who listen to kanye or rihanna, will forget them ;)

  • they'll not only forget ... they'll be dead

that isn't supposed to sound as cold as it is thankful - this beautiful music will endure

  • THANK YOU! Love your comment!

  • @cordios1 Wrong, Classical Music never dies.

  • @DrEpicFail Damn Fuckin Right Dr. EpicFail! when can i go to you to get my heart transplant?

  • @cordios1

I'm getting tired of the constant bashing of ALL hip/hop/rap music.

You mean to tell me that after listening to Eminem and Biggie Smalls songs, that you don't feel their deep emotions????

Classical Music is out of this world and would never die, BUT hiphoprap is not crap!

Granted a lot of songs now requires less talent but don't forget the few great ones!

  • @cordios1 yes but at that time will appear new idiot "Musicians"

  • @Monkeyboy92037 I'm sure, if Beethovan was still alive, he would be richer than kanye and rihanna will ever be ;)

btw i just can't stand rihanna -.-' what's that hype about her??? kanye - ok he's a genius, i like some of his songs too... x)

    but nothing compares to beethoven!!

  • how is kanye a genius? What do you call Bach or Mozart then?

  • @Haaggus

i don't know any english word or them, i am agerman...maybe they both would be god-like?^^ anyway, they are better than kanye! =)

  • @jadenight0

I think it isn't the bad messages that rap/hiphop send, but rather the lack of musicality or deepness to the music. Okay, so a rap song can be enjoyable or entertaining, but so can the Spiderman movies. It doesn't mean they are actually good.

  • I totally agree with you Glam0UrXem Rap and Hip Hop has taken over and has pretty much ruined all the Classical and bouroque, Romantic music that bethoveen, Mozart, Thichovsky, Bach, ext... that they've been working on but I geuss thats what people these days like )*:

  • lol good one monkeyboy..i agree with that. but music comes in different sounds. To say one is technically better than another is kinda narrow minded. However i do agree that people taint music with crap. Like rap and hiphop has been watered down to crap just like rock and country has been as well.

  • @TheFloutist Rap and hip hop and any other music hasn't ruined any classical music. Is is still very well around, all over the world listened to by millions. Whether you like it or not people will listen to what THEY think is good, regardless of talent.

  • @glamOUrXem Hey, all music is art in its own right.

  • @360Gamer2010 You know... I read in one of the biography of someone, can't remember who but it was Chopin, Beethoven, or Liszt, and they once said that they laugh at whoever says that music is an art. Or was it Rachmaninoff that said that...

  • @lavamaster530 Eh, I'd still say everything has an art to it, which I suppose makes the word 'art' redundant.

  • @360Gamer2010 No, if that's the case then everything is redundant, which is redundant in itself by saying so, in which case we don't. The word "art" in this case is just vague.

  • @glamOUrXem I don't think Classical music can ever be replaced , i can tell every single person have had listen to many classical music, the point is , they don't know which is chopin's which is beethoven's and they just don't know the songs are actually that good =]

  • Lol, I saw this after hearing it on Nodame Cantabile, and loved it the first time I heard it.

  • atashi mou.. lol well yeah it's great. :)

  • the violinist played it horribly on his exam though. he thinks he is amzingly talented, but he has no subtlety and little musicality. this is a character who (i think) wants to play violin in a rock band and couldnt separate his attacking of the violin in rock music from classical beethoven, however i could be wrong.

  • I love classical music ^_^

  • Wow..thank you very much alexatornrose..now i know..

  • what is a movement?

  • Compositions of classical music are divided into movements, which are actually parts of the piece. For example, a symphony is divided into 4 parts, concertos mainly in 3 parts, sonatas in 3 (Beethoven has a few with 4 parts, however). I guess they are called movements considering they are each to be played in a different tempo whose name suggests the dynamic (ex: andante, allegro, presto, adagio, larghetto, largo, and so on)

  • Who are the two interpreter?

  • sorry I see now in the discription.

  • Very light-spirited and interpreted well.

  • Great reading of this sonata. I've got a great set of all ten with Claude and Pamela Frank...Viva Beethoven!

  • i love this!!!!!!

  • This was played in Nodame Cantabile!! If you are a classical music fan you should watch this drama!!! It's funny and has great music at the same time!!!

  • Agree, I've seen it and has very good music, "Spring", "Rhapsody in Blue" Chopin etudes, Rachmaninov 2nd piano concerto and many others. It's very nice if u like japanese animation and good music =)

  • lol, you must like them too if you know what it is! Nice to meet you!! If you've only seen the anime you should watch the live action too, it won't disappoint you! I feel in love with classical music through Nodame!

  • ei may i know what is the title of the sonata of bethoven that can be played by two pianos?is this the spring sonata?

  • i don't know of any beethoven sonata that has two pianos, but Mozart has a few; try out Mozart's Sonata in D major K 448.

  • is this the sonata that can be played by two pianos? or let say duet in piano?

  • Comment removed

  • Sometimes when I listen to this, I close my eyes and pretend I'm the one playing this. Lol dorky, I know. I wanna play like this <333 Or at least hear someone play it like this version.

  • know what..when i listen to this..evertime i listening to this..i will raise my hands up..and pretend like i was the conducter!

  • do they need a conducter for a sonata? i tought a conducter worked with the orchester

  • probably not if u watch live ones it will answer ur ?(question)

  • i have no idea...just get a feel to raise up my hand..and swing it on!

  • No, a sonata usually has a instrument or the instrument itself that can make the main rhythm and order of the piece. For example, a piano sonata doesn't need a conductor because the piano does both the treble and the bass at the same time. In a violin/piano sonata, the piano does mostly the rhythm and bass and sometimes the melody. But in an orchestra the conductor is needed because he is the one makes sure that the orchestra is at a steady rhythm and order.

  • yeah this was used in nodame.. ^__^

  • me enknta

...ai alguien k no hable ingles?

  • yo morongas!

  • i want to play like beethoven before i die..

  • belíssimo!! Bravo!!

  • very nice music if i say so very clasycal

  • Stupendaaaaa nn vedo l'ora di studiarlaaaa

  • You found an amazing woman then.

  • Thanks for uploading a heaven for me.

  • wow nice

  • Beautiful piece, I think I'll play this for my DipABRSM now.

  • I am in absolute heaven. Thank you for uploading.

  • Chiaki!

  • you watched nodame cantabile?

  • Of course.

  • Haha, so did I! I heard it from the anime for the first time and I loved it!

  • what anime?

  • Nodame Cantabile.

  • yeah, awesome

  • Very nice performance!

  • I would place other picture of Beethoven. Picture, where he is younger

  • This is a blissful spring way of hearing it. The violin gives a pleasant slow joyfulness to the piece. But I think the violin would be the center of the piece. The piano gives the fast tempo of excitement.

  • this version is so good :))

  • i agree. this music is very refined.

  • It sure sounds happy ^^

    SRING!SPRING!SPRING!

  • Hm... Nu, mie asta nu mi se pare o interpretare maiastra a sonatei...

  • No, it'a Oliver Colbentson - violin and Erich Appel - piano

  • who is playing this version, its beautiful!

  • It sounds like Henryk Szeryng violin and Arthur Rubinstein piano. It is a hauntingly beautiful sonata and performance...

  • yes, it is stunning!

  • aaa i want to download this ! ;)

  • why don't you buy it? it would be good for everyone!

  • but it doesnt have in my place ! :((((((

  • do you even know how hard it is to find an interpretation you like of a specific in a regular store? there are not many stores that have what you like played by whom you like when it comes to classical music...

  • if you find where to download it (illegally), you can, with a little bit more effort buy and download it (legally).

about how to find an interpretation you like, I think that someone who just begins with such a music may not distinguish most of subtle differences, and for someone who knows something about the subject, it won't be as difficult as you imagine!

  • U can,

Try with the lattest Real player software.

  • ok, i'll give a try. thank you very very much ! :)))))

  • just PM me and we'll find a way to have you sent the mp3s
