@crunkid101 you just got to care for it with moisturizer when needed.. but with braids you don't have to do anything but keep the scalp from drying up with scalp oil. Her hair can be all the way down to her behind when curly unless shes starts perming it all the time like alot of older black women do.
Ms. K, been watching your vids for a couple years and I just have to applaud you again -- you're inspiring! I'm a Black mom of 6 kids, 1 boy/5 girls and hair combing has often been a tedious chore. My teens can help with the little ladies now, they watch you too. Ms. White Lady... :), you have taught me tons more about my daughters' hair than my female elders ever did! I thank you sincerely for your creativity, tenacity and genuine love for those beautiful Black babies. Always a big fan!
I tried the criss cross braids on my daughters hair and they turned out great! I'm going to try this style as well. Thanks for your tutorials, you are doing great!
Katelynylyn you are like are so awesome. I know doing hair isn't about what color you are, but it its so awesome that you as a caucasion can do hair so well. I'm black, been black all ntt life and can't do hair worth a lick. I'm always watching your vids. How did you learn if you dont mind me asking. I still struggle with cornrowing. Wish you were in florida, I'd make an appt. With you to me and my girls hair. Keep up the good the work.
you should start doing length checks on your daughters hair! i would love to know how long its getting. theres alot of natural hair vids that explain how to do it :)
too cute....i get so many adorable ideas to use on my daughter from you!
