Junk antennas. Every scammer on ebay is selling these things. The chinese make them for about $2.00, sell them for $5.00 and they get resold to gullible americans for $50-100 each.
Buy and install a real system such as a Winegard 9032 and a Philips SDW1850 rotator. If you live in a flat area you'll receive channels from every metropolitan area within 100 miles of you.
People who get all giddy over receiving a dozen channels from the ebay junk shown in this video or home made antennas crack me up.
actuley i got one of theas antenns for free and itworks great but what i fount is that he cable it cam wih was crap if you replace the cable on this device you will get better reception then the winegad amd the philips and if yooooooooatach a splatter guard a food cooing thing to the front itworks like a reflector and will give you imprrrrrrrrrved eception.
I bought one for $20 at MicroCenter in Columbus, Ohio, USA. I hooked it to the girlfriend's digital conveter box - the difference was astounding! More channels, less interuptions from pixelation and freeze-ups. Her son had bought her an RCA digital antenna on Radio shack employee's recommendation as the best made for converter boxes. He paid $70 - it worked *worse* than antique rabbit ears we fished from her attic. The remote operation keeps our lazy asses where they should be - on the couch!
@iamxeddiex Channel Search? FIrst, research where the transmitters are in the area. Then point antenna at location one, do a channel search, note what it finds, point it at location 2, repeat, note what it finds and so on. Then, you simple add the extra channels manually. Isn't radio cool..!!
Problems with this one are;1. There's no directional indicator on the receiver, so you don't know which direction its pointing, or even which way it's rotating, and, if you're going to use this for HD, it's hard sometimes to get a picture because, unlike analog TV, where the picture quality improves as the antenna rotates towards the direction of the station, with HDTV, the TV takes some time-(5-10 seconds) to lock onto the signal, so it's easy to pass by the station without getting a picture.
It is a usual UHF/VHF Antenna. Those Type of antennas are being built since the 60s and can be used to receive all kinds of signals in the UHF and VHF Band (analouge and/or digital) !!!
The Antenna doesn't care weather it receives analouge, digital or HD signals as long as those signals are being transmitted on the UHF/VHF Frequencies. For HDTV you need a HD Tuner/Receiver. Not a new antenna - U can even use old TV antennas!
I'm currently doing research for the best HDTV antenna. I was fascinated by this video. Where can I find more info on this antenna and where can I buy it? As in the previous post, how far does it go? Will it work for stations more than 70 miles away?

Yes, I'm sure you've done comparisons of this Chinese POS against a real Winegard antenna.
Your Daweoo is a better car than a Camry too.
btw, what exactly is this "splatter guard a food cooing thing" you mentioned?

Build a coat hanger antenna, it kicks ass if you take the time to do it right.
I get 30 digital channels and 1080i HD that blows even the current hot lick FIOS away.
I don't watch all of the channels I get and they plan on adding more in the future.

no point in having this because you would need to do channel search every time you move it.

not anyone, if a person have a digital tv or have analog tv connected to a converter box you can still watch tv.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
This is pointless anyways in early 2009 all analog TV signals will be stopped. So anyone that uses a antenna will have no TV.
