Moxie is a soft drink (soda, pop, cola,etc.).
Ted Williams pitched it.
Made some of us in New Enland say we had Moxie.
It required a taist, it wasn't sweet.
But Ted pitched it.

Boston's left field was covered well.
The son of a potato farmer sure could hit and through the ball.
The Red Sox on WBZ and drinking Moxie with my grandfather at the camp in New Hampshire. That's the stuff that a childhood is made of.
