I want this sub but not sure if it has good sound quality..I'm tired of paying so much for JL subs I mean they sound fantastic but it's just too much..would you say these have just as good sound quality as JL audio? It's either this or a RE Audio SEX sub..

@kddcc i just blew my kicker cvr lol never put it at 1ohm on a kicker amp lol rite now im lookin at speakers cerwinvegas are good and about the same price range as the cvr im trying to decide weather to get the cerwinvega15vmax or a 15 orion pro

That kenwood amp is nice too man. The blue led's look great with those. That box looks so cool. You definitely know what you're doing man. Everything looks clean and it sounds great man.

I used to have one of those subs in my ex-camry, that thing hit super hard...then i blew it and got an Alpine Type R...nothing close to that orion.

that sub can reach up to 2" of travel once it breaks in. and you can feed it more power orion subs are under rated i have mine running 800 - 1000 rms daily and ive had it for 4 months now. its like the orion hcca 12" its rms is 2000 max is 4000 but it blew @ 6050 watts after 1hr 30 mins none stop. iv had mine up to 2000 watts when i db dragged it and that was after 3 rounds on music and two on bass sweeps. it was warm but not hot and no burning. still sounds great. ill post some vids soon.

I can tell you right now, you arent feeding it 500 rms. That thing should be slamming.

I just got that sub with a orion cobalt co8001 amp. I got n a enclosed box loud as hell still breakin n tho jw what rms is ur amp puttn out and what u pay 4 ur sub I got mine for 199. Ill post some vids when weather warms up check out when I get it up

its around 1.75 and tuned to 36hz but yha i have a crappy camera that dose not pick up anything. also i feeding it 500rms 1000max from a kenwood amp at 2 ohm
