@WelshDegenerate I totally agree with you about his performance in Fight Club.It was a tremendous performance on his part.Still though,in general I find his acting to be too one dimensional for my liking.It seems that most of his roles were given to him based solely on his "sex symbol" reputation more than his acting ability.JD on the other hand has played some of the most diverse characters ever seen and which I seriously doubt Brad could pull off.

The latter of those being a masterpiece. Thanks largely to the director of course; a total indulgence in style and texture, an immersion into world and tension, a masterfully crafted back-clinching human tennis match.

And, Pitt's performance was pure excellence. Prior to that I thought he was very good, but that performance is when I realized he's top of the line. So subtle and studied, a pure character study, realistic and chilling.

@Rogue5863 I disagree. I used to agree with you, I never disliked Brad but always thought, well... I used to grapple with whether he could actually act lmao. In that, I would watch him and be trying to figure out if I was seeing a hack or a genius. He's obviously neither but, he's a great actor.

I've realized he can seem stone / limited due to his monotone-ish voice sometimes. But, "Fight Club" and "The Assasination of Jesse James" is top-class performance.
