Snyder said this film was 90% accurate. For people like you and I, you can obviously see what is real and what is not. But a quick glance at YouTube will tell you that there are a large number of people who believe anything they see. Plus, the actual story of what really happened is far more interesting, such as how Leonidas sent the majority of the Greeks away when he knew they would be surrounded, leaving the Spartans and the Thespians to fight to the death.
