The band is Trin - Stars and the players are Earle Wong (Tuner), Lincoln Waldron (Arranger), Julie Martin, my brother Jr., and Panman Pat, pan man extraordinaire and pan pioneer in Toronto. The group is from Toronto. It's a wonderful collection of calypsos from Trinidad and Tobago home of Pan and Calypso.

This was so enjoyable! Most of the steel band music on Youtube fails to inspire because either the recording is poor or the steel band has no idea of how to play an instrument properly. This is different!!

Will all the real steel pan players stand up please!!!!! It is time to show the global audience what real pan playing is all about. When tourist visit the Caribbean, they want to hear real steel band music in all the resorts. No more amateur night!

I love this song and will use it for my class project in sculpting. Just favorited you and will give you all the credit in my class project. I have to make something for the art show so I am making a mini bar that I have made out of wood and then I will wrap all the wood in used (disinfected) soda cans. The mini bar will have wheels on the bottom so it can move and then I will add some mini speakers to the bar playing some island music like this one.

What do you guys think?

@ziphell2 on top of the mini bar idea (since this is an art/ sculpting class) I will try to find some tiki statues made of wood that I can add next to or on my mini bar to make this all see happy and island like. Then of course straw or hay for the roof of the thing and if the school ok's me to do non alcoholic drinks then maybe some cocnuts will do or we can have coconut cups with juice or something :)
