The bible makes some claims about factual matters (order of creation etc) which can be tested , and found to be incorrect. This is not disputed by credible (ie not Kent Hovind ) scientists. The folks who have no time for any metaphor or mythology within it and insist on a literal interpretation are going to run into a brick wall called the observed evidence.
What puzzles me is that people are so overly-opinionated on the great debate as to whether God exists or not. Why would you try to disprove the other side of the argument? Saying that sometimes the answer is NO, is a cop-out. The god described in the bible (as described) does NOT exist. That is a proven fact. No god created life 144 generations before jesus (4004BC). No god flooded the earth (ask a native american why they didnt all drown). The bible is PROVEN FALSE, and its claimed god.

The earth was not created 144 generations before the time of jesus, the earth was never flooded, humanity was not dispersed from the tower of babel in 2000BC, we have no awareness or consciousness outside our active healthy physical brain. The bible makes some claims about factual matters (order of creation etc) which can be tested , and found to be incorrect. This is not disputed by credible (ie not Kent Hovind ) scientists. The folks who have no time for any metaphor or mythology within it and insist on a literal interpretation are going to run into a brick wall called the observed evidence.

Clearly the world was not created in 6 days about 10,000 years ago, so therefore the Bible is just plain wrong.If the world were merely 10,000 years old then how do you think the dinosaurs that are millions of years old? Having God with you while you work and being led by Him is one of the reasons the last place I worked at has been calling wanting me back. God helps me do everything better and prayer is the way to communicate with Him not to disregard others.

Noah's story is impossible! There isn't even proof that the jews spent forty days wondering the desert and that is after hundreds of thousands of hours diging. Or, if you don't like that example, then look at Communist Russia - a state built on the ideal that there is no higher authority than the state itself - that was their central point! And I don't need to tell you about Stalin's atrocities in the name of authority.
And when was the last time you read a gospel for yourself? You'll find Jesus smashes a misconception with every turn of a page. He hated religion!
