  • tray us this whit 10 years old Russian air defense system.

  • '

hope this missile can hi and destroy all ussr russia T-55 to T-95 tanks

  • Why are we selling these to Saudi Arabia ?

We should not be selling our weapons to extremist Muslims.

  • @ScottishCaledonian

Well the USA is even selling Abrams tank to the Iraq!! ;)

  • @ScottishCaledonian if u see the money i think u should

  • 99% british, im so proud...

  • Holy fu**ing jizz in my pants.. :D

  • Wtf, can that tornado really target 6 things at once and fire each missle with its own target like that?

  • @wwwNooBcom

Yes he can, but thats nothing completly new. There are already weapon systems which can do multi tracking too.

  • fighter jets should fire missiles inverted so the pilot can see the damage they cause.

  • If I win the mega euromillions jackpot this Friday I think I'll buy a few, sign my name on them then hand them over to the RAF.

The thought of them being used against Gaddaffi will be fantastic!

  • @ToonandBBfan Yes hunny. And they will even make better missiles in the future!

So twinkle baby be prepared for your favorite day: tax payday!

Or else: spooky spooky fiends will destroy you!

  • @stahlwerke

    Huh?

  • @queenshussars Why would they waste their time modifying an obsolete missile?

  • @queenshussars Nope. Its a completely different missile to the hellfire.

  • @queenshussars shh don't infer this missile has anything to do with U.S or people will cry

  • Thumbs us if you think that a well armed Tornado is still a great tankbuster and multi-porpouse plane

  • Tornados were seen over Libya armed with 12 brimstones thats 12 vehicles or tanks dead per mission for each Tornado!!!

  • Cool missile. Tornadoes have shown how effective it is in the current Libya conflict too :)

  • @roe22silva

Brimstone was developed in the UK by Alenia Marconi - it even says so on Boeing's website, you dumb flag-waving American twat. The only thing from the US is the airframe and launch rail. If it was American it'd have a special option to target friendly troops, for ease of use by the Air National Guard.

  • @beastatlay Lol made me chuckle.

  • @beastatlay Blue on blue. USA. Nothing comes close lol

  • @beastatlay

Fine, limey assram. Load the Royal Navy up with all your superior weaponry and send it for a Falklands-style conquest of Puerto Rico. Then we can see how much better your "kit" really is! Don't forget to hang anti-US banners from the windows of your dilapidated buildings.

  • Comment removed

  • @beastatlay LoL im going to take a wild guess here but i think your refering to the friendly Patriot Missile mishaps.

  • @beastatlay Best part is, my dad works for MBDA and is project manager of brimstone in the Bolton facility. Its purely a UK design, and they are selling it at 200% production cost to france purely cos they want to be able to say "we helped in libya too".

  • @beastatlay Additrionally, the reall magic of the weapon is INSIDE with its ability to 'chat' between weapons as they 'choose' targets so as to stop mutliple strikes on the same target.

What do you mean the National Guard? Why narrow blue on blues against friendly allies to them> What arm of the US Armed Forces DOESN'T do that?

  • @beastatlay Alenia Marconi Systems is an Italian Company which is part of Finmeccanica in Joint Venture with the BAE SYSTEMS which is British, so USA has (as you said) nothing to do with the US.

  • @roe22silva Your thinking of the Hellfire

  • @roe22silva so are the harriers the usa produce really bae harriers, no you would say same airframe but thats where it stops.

  • Was reading that a Typhoon can carry 24 brimstones which are about 45kg each. If that was spike NLOS they'd be nearly twice as heavy and quite physically large so presumably you wouldn't be able to carry as many or take out so many vehicles in one go.

  • @t43562 yet you don't need a jet to launch them.............

  • Nice to see the UK making the best anti tank missile in the world.

  • @DrFolderol wiki: "Operational

    range 12 km"

Is that the best ? lol

  • @ya6655 Name a better one then.

  • @DrFolderol Spike NLOS

Not only ground launched , but has twice the range...

    google it..

  • @ya6655 Brimstone uses 94 GHz Millimetric wave radar (MMW) & digital autopilot so 24 missiles can be launched from 1 plane at 24 seperate targets at the same time, can spike do this? and yes i checked the stats it does have a longer range.

  • @DrFolderol that's a nice advantage ..

yet I'd still go with longer range, you can shoot, reload, shoot, reload and get a better rate of kill/time..

by the time it takes the tanks to advance those extra 12Km the spike covers, you can destroy let's say 1 target per Km......

+ You don't need to call a jet, you're on ground waiting 'cheaply' ....

  • @ya6655 If you're in hilly terrain it might not be possible to launch from the ground, it was also based on the shell of a hellfire so it can be fitted as a direct replacement to the hellfire on the Apache.

It wasn't meant to replace the Javelin and AT4 the infantry uses,

  • Fukn nice man, impressive.

  • they copied the Hellfire missile even in name

  • @MondoMedia7 They copied the name and called it Brimstone? The missile looks like a Hellfire, but inside there is big difference.

  • okay

  • @swertinge07 LoL

  • @MondoMedia7 comments like these just piss me off. Did they look

at the Hellfire and make a copy, just like that? In engineering, form follows function.

This isn't a beauty contest. The last thing the engineers care about is if it "looks"

like something else. If it happens to, then so what.......they work differently

  • @copehaha don't get pissed over a YouTube comment

    I never do.

  • @MondoMedia7 You should also "never" comment on things you

dont know much about.....I never do

  • @copehaha Why is it that you and all these other keyboard experts have so much emotional investment in comments?

Don't you people have jobs, hobbies, sex lives?

I mean at the end of the day who gives 3 shits about if a missile "really"copied and has you so spun up you have to come back with one last word? Does the Internet attract the obsessive compulsives or something? I mean wow!

  • @MondoMedia7 I happen to work in the defence industry, so I naturally tend to watch these kinds of videos. You might not give 3 shits if a missile is copied or not, but then don't make an ass out of yourself by commenting on something you know nothing about. I know nothing about radios 4 example, so I'm not about to randomly click on a radio video, and comment as if i know what I'm talking about.

Rather ask questions to learn how things work, as opposed to making a random comment....

  • Respond to this video...

Do I have a job? Yes

    Hobbies? Yes

    Sex life? Yes

The only reason I'm replying to you is because of my email notifications, that's it.

I'm sure it's the same with you. I don't see how replying to comments once every 2 or 3 days, makes someone a jobless, hobby-less person without a sex life. If that's the case, then you and I are in the same boat.....since you've also replied to all my comments. I'm failing to see the point of your argument.

  • A dozen missiles per aircraft - That's enough to take out an entire tank company! And the Typhoon can carry 16 of those!!

  • I mean 18
