  • Man i wish i could attend one of these classes in the garage

  • Jeremy Lynch performs some of the best straight leads, hooks, and scoop kicks. As you can see each attack is very powerful.

  • This is great to see. Thnaks for posting.

  • Graet stuff My big brother Jimbo....

  • Bringing the shoulder/hip back is a telegraph.

  • that clip of Jim McCann looked rather complicated, whats the opponent doing with his other hand too?

  • Another great video posted by the W.N.G. These guys are the real deal. Jim MacCann , D.M. Blue , Jeremy Lynch. If you ever get a chance to train with these men dont pass it up. Do whatever it takes.

  • Great demo thanks for sharing!

  • Nice, Good, Clip is a nice figure, instructive

  • You're both correct. I didn't include the part where 'hand first' is discussed because it went over 10 minutes. All thats shown here is the footwork and hip torque.

  • Thanks sifu, I've never been able to find any videos that explain the straight lead's finer points in it's entirety. When I practice I have nothing to compare my mechanics to besides stuff I've read in books. Is there any chance of us getting to see a video like that in the future from you guys?

  • I'd also really like to see a video addressing the hand before the foot principle. No one has explained this in adequate detail yet, and I think it would be a really helpful video to a lot of people.

I also agree that Mr. Lynch seems to load his hand a little bit, but what matters is what it looks like to the opponent, not from the side. It's possible his slight hand movement is deceptive from a head on angle.

In either case, thanks for the awesome video.

  • Towards the end they discuss straight leads. When the instructor shows the footwork he seems to really load up his hand. I've always read that the hand is supposed to move first with the body following.

  • At the end when Sifu Lynch is instructing, why does he not move the hand before the foot when advancing with his straight punch? Have I been doing this wrong all along...?

  • hand before foot is really hard. If you can do it, ok. If not, Hand and foot at the same time works just as well

  • very cool. but the surfboard? lol

  • Thanks for posting!
