a great rendition of the wizard of oz, superb use of music, especially slaughter house. And David Lynches last GREAT film, before he went just plain weird mode
@littlescratchykitty I think it's just a piece of incidental music; it doesn't have a title and is not a part of the soundtrack album or any other release by Badalamenti. This music always made me wanna take a stroll down a deserted street while being followed by unsavoury looking types ;)

man this movie is so fucking terrible. But its so bad you have to watch it. The whole damn things hilarious because the acting and script it so damn awful. But its so horrible, I almost liked it, LOL.
a robber, a manslaughterer...he's had no parental guidance! ...and I want to apologize to you gentlemen for refering to you as homosexuals....LULA!!!!!!! Fantastic.
It's not by Angelo Badalamenti. It's borrowed from Richard Strauss. It's the introduction to one of his 'Four Last Songs', which is, as stated correctly above, 'Im Abendrot'.
are you talking about the music that comes in right after cage screams "lula"? those are the opening bars to Im Abendrot, the last of Richard Strauss' 4 last songs...
I waanna thank you for posting this cilp, and appologize for caling you a homosexual. I see now what's really true, and I see it because of your youtube post.
This ain't about the song, the subtitles or Twin Peaks...this is about script, composition, and a genius director..the great American absurdist...David Lynch...there'll never ever be another one. Appreciate before it's too late!
Yeah, Nic Cage was awesome back in the day. Wild at Heart, Raising Arizona, Vampire's Kiss-- now he's one of the hammiest, most lackluster actors in Hollywood. Did you see The Wicker Man remake? It's a laugh riot.
I saw this one when it first came out. I was totally crazy about David Lynch. He was offered Return of the Jedi. Could you image what that would have been like had he accepted?
Well, look at Dune. He was a director-for-hire on that one and unlike The Elephant Man he didn't have final cut, which made him miserable. Had he been allowed to do whatever he wanted on Return of the Jedi, it would've been amazing, but I doubt that would've happened.
Love this movie

Yes that one! I've wondered about it for 13 years. It sounds like something Badalamenti could've composed but its not on the soundtrack.
