  • Best band ever...please check out my vids! thanx.

  • this song has probably changed many peoples lives. if any previous song by this band hadn't already.

  • @rasoriero yup, i've quit the meat since supporting caste came out.

  • definitely the best song off the new album. the lyrics and music are fucking awesome. It's only been a few months since this came out but I might even say one of the best songs they've ever done.

  • what about Last Will & Testament :S????? what about Supporting Caste, what about Night Letters, what about Tertium Non Datur, and Dear Coach's Corner, and This is your Life, and Human(e) Meat, and so...

If this album ended on the 12th track, i couldn't say which is the best song, they're all awesome, but it doesn't, it has a 13th track, and it's Last Will & Testament, and no matter how many times i hear it, i can't understand "HOW"

FUCKIN GOD WHAT THE HELL IS INSIDE CHRIS HANNA'S MIND DAMN!!!!

  • @sxqsvocals

I dunno man this one still stands out above the rest for me, the whole album is amazing though. Probably the best punk album I've heard since 2003 or so.

  • Amazing song. I cried the first couple of times as I sang along with the lyrics.

  • me too,all about the love isn t it...2:34

  • I can't wait to see them play this live

  • Me too; I hope they do when I see them in London! It's literally the most anticipated moment of my life, haha.

  • Song is about a Pig named Francis? escaping from the slaughterhouse... Theres a statue the abbatoir (slaughterhouse) erected...

    pretty sad song...

  • Francis the pig made headlines in 1990 when he made a dash for freedom from the slaughterhouse.

Francis captured the hearts of Albertans while successfully avoiding his own capture for five months on the lam.

A bronze sculpture of this feisty porker was erected on Gaetz Avenue in Red Deer, Alberta.

  • Fair play to Francis!

  • Thanks a lot for the lyrics. appreciate it.

  • Excuse the lack of apostrophes, etc.; I don't know what happened, as I just copied and pasted.

  • Francis didnt give a fuck about the rollbacks, the overproduction, the reduced demand. He never gave much thought to disputed contracts. In his short life hed only ever known panic, fear, pain, darkness and pandemonium (in the hell that was his home).

  • Fourth quarter earning expectations expedited his demise. The panic grew as the humans stalked among them. When the screaming began, Francis shut his eyes and felt the hand of inhumanity brush over him. But his would-be killers back turned for a moment and a blinding ray of light spread across the floor. In a crimson pool he saw his own reflection as he bolted for the door.

  • Not just some fractured fairy-tale although I wish that that were true. This is a fable far too real. Yet we somehow still cling to the story lines that bridge the chasm between cognition and belief. Any old implausible denial that might offer some relief from the dissonance that Francis left screaming in his wake as deep into the heart of the citys park lands he made good his escape. And where for 5 months he ran free and replayed his only fond memory

  • just a warm and distant dream of his mothers loving eyes upon him. Francis made it farther than she dida quarter mile just short of the city limits they finally captured him. Theres a statue that the abattoir erected to remind us all of their contributions. To me it marks Potemkin City Limits, this Francis cast in bronze. Not just some fractured fairy-tale, although I wish that that were true. This is a fable far too real, yet we somehow still cling to...

  • hey thanks for the link, dear scotty. i cant wait to get my hands on this shiite. can you post the lyrics to this song in the meantime if you have them? thanks.

  • I looked on the track listing for the new album on propagandhis website and Francis is not one of them. Maybe they changed the name of the song but i hope they didn't ditch it. was looking forward to studio version.

  • There's a song called "Potemkin City Limits" on that track listing; if you listen towards the end of this it sounds like he sings the phrase "city limits" a couple times - so I bet anything this is "Potemkin City Limits"

  • lol

  • These guys are awsome, they make me feel proud to be a vegetarian

  • It was Propagandhi that first made me think about becoming vegetarian. Now been meat-free for 6 years =D

  • sounds kinda like the song todays empires tomorrows ashes. but still totally awesome and exciting and i cant wait for their new cd

  • this vids been totally after-effects, micheal jackson 4eva!

  • I can't fucking wait for the next album!

  • FUCK!

  • best

  • fuck

  • This song's called "Francis", or at least that's part of the title. I got Hannah's setlist from the Toronto show and one of the songs was written down as "Francis", but it was skipped at the show. If you listen closely to the lyrics at the bridge, he says something about "the dissonance that Francis left screaming in his wake" so I'm guessing this is it and they just skipped it in Toronto.

  • Is it just me or do these guys just keep on getting better and better? Damn thats a good song.

  • That lead guitar line that comes in at 1:10 is the sweetest thing I've heard in a long time.

  • It´s really good to know that there´s a lot of fans of this band. The world´s not probably so fucked up as I thought. Ok. I´ll BUY the new album.

  • Hey bro, do you know of a new album? I'm probably out of the loop...

  • from their site: "We currently have about 14 songs on the go and they are all really exciting!! We will record in October! We are hard at work and having a great time!!!"

  • Thanks for the info!

  • Sounds fucking gooooooooooood!!!

  • Prediction: The new Propagandhi release will be one of the best punk rock albums ever created.

  • not a big surprise, that's all the fucking make.

  • you say that like it's a bad thing

  • this was to the guy who said referring ot it sounding like todays empires "that's all they fucking make anymore"...youtube is fucking with my comments hah.

  • I don't mean it like it's a bad thing. Everything they put out is fucking gold. That's all I meant.

  • Just clearing things up hah, no worries.

  • @entrenous81 PREDICTION CAME TO FRUITION

  • OH MA GAWD OH MA GAWD OH MA GAWD, I need this new album more than propagandhi need to give us some fucking updates on when it's coming out!

  • Somebody knows when it is possible to hear a song in the written down variant?

  • Also, Jord is one of the greatest drummers ever.

  • Very wrong mate. He is the greatest drummer ever.

    cheers

  • So damn stoked for this!

  • siiiiiick fuckin song! ..cant wait for more of these guys

drummers... reply to me if you wanna rock this style!

  • Fucking amazing. Man I can't wait for the boys to come back through Montreal again!

  • holy crap, this sounds fantastic. it's got a really beautiful, sort of mournful quality to it. i hope that carries over to the album version...

  • This has me even more excited for the new album

  • nice thanks

  • the new album sure is something to look to forward to. thanks for the heads up! propagandhi will never be replicated...

  • Based off the three new songs they played it should be more like potemkin but with clearer dual guitar work. May just be their most badass and catchy album yet.

  • Do you have videos of the other new songs? Please say you do, oh please!!!

  • I messed up and only got the last minute of one. The third new song was an instumental played by beaver, todd and jord. chris was in the back fixing his string. I didnt record that one. :(

  • Thanks for posting this. :D

  • Thanks for sharing indeed!

  • awesome.
