The Korean language has nothing to do with the Chinese language. I take chinese and there are over 50,000 characters and Korea only has 24 letters. How can something so complicated such as Chinese with thousands of characters be compressed to 24 letters.
If you know anything about History, a Korean King developed the Korean language, where Japan based it's language with China and even some with Korean (The word "Promise" is the same pronunciation for both Korean and Japanese)

By putting down China, Koreans are just putting down themselves...for SO much of their culture (including Japan's) is derived from China's. I wasn't even aware of this growing up (I didn't know much about East Asia), but when I later learned just how much Chinese culture (names, language, writing systems, architecture, religion, philosophy, customs, etc.) had influenced Korea's and Japan's, I was STUNNED.

Modern Chinese are these from Yangtze river delta, not really Hua. Koreans got their influence from Liao river delta, separated culture that of China. You first attribute your loss in women's archery final to the noise of the sepctators. In fact there were more Korean spectators, making huge noise.
Then the Korean women handball team was beaten by the Norwegian. They attributed the loss to the unfairness of the referees & refused to join the press after the match.
This reminds me with the nasty boxing games in Seoul Olympics.

I'm sure the Korean player accepts the defeat, it's the audience that's not happy. Park Sung Hyun was smiling through the whole medal ceremony so she knew her time would come for a defeat. But what's really unfair is that something should have been done about the audience. No matter what other people say, the audience was really rowdy. That was not part of the Olympic spirit, and it was childish. You do not disrepect the players who have trained for four years just for that moment! Period!!

LOL, Had Korea ever dominated China? I never know that, is there any documents recorded such event in the British Library and/or British Museum? those two are most reputeded in the world of academic history and arts worldwide.
BTW, China had very violent and bloddy history with other countries around, but never Korea, the reason was simple, Korea had never met the minimum criteria to be qualifying as an target of bullying by Chinese through the history.
