  • NYC=Worst City Ever

  • check out my nyc videos

  • queens sucks

  • Nice tips. Thank you

  • @ifb1993 you mean "why is an irish guy fcking representing my city?"

  • West Coast FTW!!!

  • Why is a British guy fcking representing my city?

  • @ifb1993 he's not representing your city. he's a traveler and makes videos informing other travelers what's hot in each city. Jesus fucking christ!!

  • @MsDDiddy if someone is to tell me ten things I need to know about New York, i want a New Yorker, not a Irish dude

  • @stlcameron22 well then dont watch videos hosted by fucking hostel world, which is known to have an IRISH host. get the fuck over it!

  • Times square?

  • Pastrami? That's Romanian food!

  • hey man wahts the name of that songg??

  • pizzaria rhymes with diarrhea xD hehe

  • I died when he said Sex and the City....that's the only reason I've been wanting to go see New York! :') it seems great

  • Great video. I just posted a ton of NYC video footage to my channel, check it out if u want.

  • Astrology? You friggin idiot. It's astronomy!!!!

  • God nyc. I've lived in new york city my whole life and it is very frustrating especially during rush hour. Talk about getting bumrushed. I love nyc. But nyc is only a small portion of the new york state itself the rest of new york is mountains lakes and forest. Amazing ny. And screw all u nyc h8ers!!

  • With my GPS i won't be lost :)

  • I think he means astronomy rather than astrology.

  • oh and btw - The Metropolitan Museum of Art (or MET - which is what he calls it) doesn't have an exact admissions price - as in when you look at the admissions, you'll see the word RECOMMENDED. like it says Adults cost $25 but you can pay like $5. trust me i do it all the time! :D

  • "easy to navigate"???? i've lived here for years and i still get lost! especially downtown where some streets aren't parallel - they go diagonally

  • @ChocolateLoverROFL imagine living in london were i live all the roads are curved and go all sorts of directions. most american cities are parallel and straight as i have seen of google maps.

  • @EasttSideCustomZ Nothing like sitting under the stars next to a 1,000 year old castle or supping ale in a 600 year old inn. Walking through the cobbled streets of London with all it's rich history and people like Jack the Ripper, the most famous serial killer of all time and other famous English people like the Elephant Man ,William Shakespeare , Isaac Newton , Charles Dickens , H.G Wells , Charles Darwin and many others all walked through the street's of London.

  • @MyMerlin1 wow you do know a vast amount about london. its nice here but getting bored

  • @MyMerlin1 and jack the ripper was never found ooooooooooooooo scary

  • The newly legalised brothels in NYC are fantastic. I’ve been a bit sex-starved since my divorce, but these places give me a hassle-free service second to none.

Last week I ordered a half-hour ‘Mother & Daughter FANTASY COMBO’- 2 stunning women, aged around 40 & 20 respectively. I don’t think they were actually related, but they acted their parts well enough (“Do me up the place I gave birth to her!”) & were highly skilled, giving me a stunning orgasm I won’t forget in a hurry.

  • I had a pleasant time when I went there a few years ago, however it's just too crowded for me.

  • I bet when he said Central Park "Friends" fans all over the world said:

YES! I KNEW THAT COFFEE SHOP EXISTED!!!!

  • 2 Bro's pizza on St. Marks Street. Best pizza in NYC for only 1$. Gotta try it.

  • @shawnmccarney Uncle Mario's pizza in Hell's Kitchen. Now that's a pizza

  • @sagunek Pastrami

  • @haengaaa Pastrami on Rye

  • Donot miss it

  • Eating well in New York is almost a daily habit for its inhabitants. Spending from $50 to $100 is easy, and you get the best restaurants in the city, where you can sit down and have your nice meal from 4 to 6 hours. Drinking at bars and restaurants are usually from $8 to $12. Cheap hot dogs are more fun than the 3 boing P-foods mentioned; those three were actually the most disgusting food in the city :(

  • @Stizou777

It only happened once, ten years ago. Get over it!

  • NYC - the best city in the world!

  • if anybody wants to know about nyc. contact me. im born and raised here and know every single thing

  • @BeautyLifePeace could you introduce some interesting shops, fashion but low price shops in soho?

  • Guys we need to stop making this about NYC vs London. This is for tourists to know what they can do for free or inexpensively while in the city.

  • New York = Better than London

    FINISHED

London is amazing, central London that is.

Anywhere in London that is not central London, is a complete shit hole. If you even think about coming to London, you are wasting your time and money. We do not talk posh like shown in things like family guy, most of the youths in London talk slang

  • @ardzman123 No, thats not true, there are many places out side london that are great like soho and stuff. And thats the same with new york, you go to far out side the central part its a shit hole. And no its not ''wasting time and money'' you idiot.

  • @MrCherubhair1 Dont talk shit please dont talk shit, if America is like that aswell that OK its overall still better than London, especially weather wise.

Places like SOHO are in london, in the central part of London. OUTISIDE of London is a shithole, with a purely corrupt government, not giving a shit about other lives other than their own.

    Suck it

  • @ardzman123 The government is the same in the central as out side, and sorry but thats not true there are great places out side the center, and there are many places in america where the weather is crap, you really don't know much about here do you.

  • @MrCherubhair1 I have to interrupt here, but every part of NYC is great because its what makes NYC. Yeah, Manhattan is the star of the city, but the BX, BK, QN, and SI all add the character that is New York City! Now, I agree with you that people cannot claim that London is a shithole outside of the center, because every part of London (all of it's boroughs) are apart of what makes London, London. When I go I'll take in every part of London that I can. NYC is better though. :)

  • @JohnStargillVP Its still your own opinion that its better, it doesn't mean it is.

  • @MrCherubhair1 Dude, I just partly defended you lol. Yes, me feeling that NYC is my opinion and I'll stick to it. NYC offers more than any other city including London. London is rich and has a vibrantly visible history interwoven into it's appearance that is also the most breathtaking in that area.

  • London is better Nothing like sitting under the stars next to a 1,000 year old castle or supping ale in a 600 year old inn. Walking through the cobbled streets of London with all it's rich history and thinking that people like Jack the Ripper and other famous English people like the Elephant Man , George Stephenson , William Shakespeare , Isaac Newton , Charles Dickens , H.G Wells , Charles Darwin and George Orwell and many others all walked through the street's of London.

  • Nice video, but you mention that the streets run north and south and the avenues run east and west. I've never been to Manhattan but I believe you have that backwards.

  • @TheHEADonWHEELS i was born in London, and yeah there is a lot more crime in London then new york it's not always as great as it seems.

  • I miss the WTC

  • I never been here (NY) Big Thanks hostelworld ....

  • @99boyz You suck!

  • CITYS SUCK!

  • @99boyz fuck off and go live in you're farm house hick

  • @67tr876 you bet!!

  • @99boyz Please elaborate, where are you from? The country? HAHAHA!! What a joke.

  • @Dslater417 better then that Urban Mess you call a city

  • @99boyz Urban mess? What in the world are you talking about? You still have told me what podunk town you're from, though. Everything cultural comes to New York before anywhere else. Everything from the newest technology, fashion, entertainment, music, is all here before anywhere else. Thats why I live in Manhattan. I would hate to live in the country. It's like going 2 years into the past.

  • 4:55 Oops! Connected to Astronomy, NOT astrology!!!!

  • 4:08 he was gonna laugh but he hold it in

  • this music is getting really repetitive

  • MAN I LOVE NEWYORK BORN AND RAISED HERE AND MOST LIKELY WILL RETIRE HERE . " BUT" SOMETIMES THE RUDENESS AND THE CROWEDEDNESS CAN BE TOO MUCH THAT YOU JUST NEED TO GET THE FUCK OUT. MIAMI AND LOS ANGELES , BARCELONA , ARGENTINA , RIO DE JANEIRO , SANTIAGO CHILE , VENICE ITALY , MILAN , PARIS FRANCE TO ME ARE JUST AS GOOD IF NOT BETTER THAN NEWYORK IS ALL ABOUT HAVING THE MONEY .

  • nice video, but it's ASTRONOMY NOT ASTROLOGY!

  • There Once was a Crumpet... How you doing Crumpet.......Crumpet Crumpet Crumpet. EAT A NYC SLICE OF PIZZA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! & Shove that Crumpet SHIT Up UR ARSE! or do you want CURRY food EVERYDAY on EVERY Block?

  • @CptUSAmerica Oh, Shut the fuck up. -_-

  • @vTempaaah LMFAO! That was a well thought out comeback.

  • @CptUSAmerica You like crumpets?

  • HOW IS THIS FOOL FROM LONDON GOING TO TELL ME ANYTHING ABOUT MY NYC??? GET THE FUCK OUT OF NYC WANKER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @CptUSAmerica sounded like an Irish accent to me. anyways he's looking at it from a tourists point of view. A nice video I thought. I have also been enjoying the guide videos done by NYC residents...

  • @CptUSAmerica The fool you are talking about is Irish...... now who is the biggest fool ?

  • @CptUSAmerica I'm from London and I visited New York last year, and i'm going next year in June. U MAD ? Btw, the guy in the video is Irish, not British. You are the definition of 'American Idiot'.

  • Comment removed

  • meh, mediocre guide. Don't go to the other boroughs; manhattan is the only one you need.

  • CARNEGIE DELHI

  • OMG...Pizza, PRETZES and PASTROMI?????? WHAT????INSULT to the greatest food city in the world.

Pardon me, but I MUST ask,,,do they not have Pretzels in England????I mean,,,COME ON<<<<Honestly Dude, if ur living on a diet of Pizza Pretzels and Pastrami,,,,,,,,....ur nutrition is SERIOUSLY messed up. MAN, what do u guys eat in London????

  • @FREEDOM3517 they dont have pretzels in london and i dont think anyone in london knows what pastrami means LMAO :')

  • @FREEDOM3517 So, I just heard that they REALLY do not have Pretzels in LONDON...WHAT?????and that nobody knows what Pastrami is....??

What is this world COMING TO When u cannot find a PRETZEL in a Large English Speaking Country????OMG - a Pretzel cannot be found... ....SO what DO they sell on the streets?????? Fried Crumpets?????

  • @FREEDOM3517 Yeah but the pretzel is mainly American (if not New York) and other European food culture. A little close minded to assume we sell 'fried crumpets'. Ummm and maybe I haven't heard of Pastrami because once again it's more your food culture, we tend to call it ham or cured meat. We don't really use Americanised or Eurocentric food phrases.

  • @FREEDOM3517 Here we go again with the stupid Crumpet shit ..... -__-

  • @FREEDOM3517 I'm from London, and yes we do have pretzel's over here, just not sold on the the street like NY does, and i also know what Pastrami is, i visited NYC last year, but never got to try it, luckily i'll be going next June, so i will then. And one more thing, enough with the Crumpet jokes..... -_-

  • @FREEDOM3517 Thats a load of rubbish you can get pretzels in london of every street and theres shops selling pastrami every where.

  • @FREEDOM3517 The same as new york.

  • @TheHEADonWHEELS

london hasn't got more crime though

  • (Streets and Ave) The opposite...Streets goes East to west or vice versa end Ave South to north or the other way around! :)

  • Well so thanks for the video,I'm planning to go to NY and so many good tips in this video!I got to u New York NY!

  • Im thinking of a lone trip from the UK to NYC this year, cant wait :)

I used to live in London, to me NYC looks like a lot more fun.

  • canal street = fake ish lol

  • im an irish guy im thinking of taking a trip over new york somtime ,it would be change from ireland

  • New York is defintly betta in tourist attraction and in Crimee trust me .

  • I'll put it this way if u live anywhere in usa don't pick new york if u have the money go to london much history there

  • my friend lived in brooklyn.

  • Yes it is!! Also try 86th street on the east side. 2 movie theaters and it's great.. Like a smaller version of times square. I remember driving around times squares on valentines day with my friends lol it was the best time ever. I love NYC.. Especially since I live here lol!

  • ill visit ny on this christmas, 10 days, is it enough to explore all ny?

  • new york is much better than london. london has nothing on new york.

  • @djwestbrook36 Maybe thats because your from there, and have not been anywhere else.

  • @MrCherubhair1 im not from ny, but i have to admit ive only been to london once. but honestly, its america. its new york. its the city with all the hollywood movies. its the city with all the cultures food and buisness. london is good...but outside the history aspect...it really doesn't compare.

  • @djwestbrook36 In london you really have to know where your going and if you do you can find all the things you said, its the tourist bits that are not good.

  • @MrCherubhair1 have u been to new york tho? the skyscrapers, the bridges, the size! the big cars! the dirt congestion anger! frustration! in a odd way all that is somehow part of new york

  • @djwestbrook36 Yes i have, you have sky skyscrapers in london, and basically what you listed, i like that about here too it adds to the city. (In a weird way, same as new york.)

  • @MrCherubhair1 but its not the same. the skyscrapers are not as big, the anger is not that big. the congestion is not as much! the liveliness is not as much. I have been to London, its good, but it's not THAT good.

  • @djwestbrook36 Your opinion, bye.

  • Great video, man! Thanks!

  • I am looking forward to my 5th visit to NYC at the back end of September....Love it.

11% off at Macy for us Brits....Lovely jubbly.

  • NYC is too ghetto. Too many black people and puertoricans that are united when it comes to freeloading. It's hard to ignore these filthy monkeys. NYC is just too overrated but if you've been to other big cities like SF, LA, Chicago, etc...They're all practically the same.

  • @whatevahization Oh wow i'm a filthy monkey because I'm a puertorican, now I feel offended .... I would lie to see the person behind this ignorant racist comment, redneck maybe?

  • I didn't know taxis were famous..

  • Go to Pomme Frites.

    Seriously- best fries ever.

  • Terdy second and terdy terd street.

  • That would be astronomy not astrology, one is scientific and one is make believe....like god.

  • o ya Manhattan rocks im from there :)

  • 1 thing you need to know about NYC - AVOID IT. Rise of the Apes.

  • I been to both new york more but if you have the money go to london much more history and impressive stuff to see new york to but not as much but both AMAZING citys by the way johns pizza place IS SO GOODDDDD

  • @Lawrencewwefan I've been to both cities. London is good but New York is an absolute one of a kind. It has so many more cultures and is so more fascinating in my opinion. This is the nicest way I can explain it: F*** off to your London video, because people wanna here about NY here okay?

  • @BassmrDK why don't u stop being a stupid london has history newy yorks history does not come any near close to the history so why don't u f off cause i got likes on that comment and stop trying to start a internet fight i have a life so please leave me alone

  • @Lawrencewwefan Still, go away from this video if the only thing you can comment is that something else is better. NY has a lot of history, not as much though. But it has a lot of other interesting things that London doesn't have. - It doesn't rain 9 to 5 - There is a lot of different cultures (Little Italy, Chinatown, Little Korea, Greek district, Black Harlem, Hispanic Harlem and I can keep going on for days) - It has a lot of tall buildings and a huge variety of restaurants and stores.

  • @BassmrDK I'm not gonna bother arguing with someone who has not traveled the world and had the experiences I have had I've lived in both places new york has statue of liberty empire state building london has the eye the queens palace Trafalgar Square harrods new york is a city with different cultures if you wanna focus on one culture london is the one and I would "go away" if u would quit commenting

  • @Lawrencewwefan Still no matter how smart you're gonna sound, you should go away from this video or delete your comment. The only reason why your comment has 4 thumbs is because I accidentally liked it. And why didn't you inform me in the first place that you've lived both places? Sounds a bit cheesy... Actually a LOT cheesy..

  • @BassmrDK stop commenting so my dad could "hop of this video" bro

  • @Lawrencewwefan LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL =)

  • @TheHEADonWHEELS To me it looks as if your a troll who goes around slagging off London, grow the fuck up.

London is older than the USA it has 100 x more history than New York and is much better. I have been to both.

  • @TheHEADonWHEELS I am Dutch and would say I prefer London to New York it's one of the best citys in the World.... London is MUCH more impressive than New York. Hence why London just over took New York as the financial capital of the World.

  • ppl is rude in ny

  • I miss NYC

  • He forgot to mention how you might get shanked and/or mugged in Central Park after dark..

  • I live near london and it would be so easy to up and move there, but there is only one city i want to live in and thats new york, and i'll do what the fuck i can to get there :D

  • I can't even begin to count how many important things he didn't mention that fit in the categories

  • its pretty funny how i know most the streets and buildings from GTAIV, camper i am

  • NYC is the most exciting city i`ve ever been before !!!! just goo !!!

  • Excellent guide, really enjoyable with loads of good information - thank you Colm and team!

  • Want ter ger ter der ber?

  • Yffdhbfhfgyfddffdfhf

  • Great tips. Thanks for posting it.

  • nice information vid. But please avoid the recommended Katz'Deli! They will sell you yukky stuff. Last time I went there I got ill! My whole day was ruined cause I was in search for a loo for hours!

  • The best time to visit is in november! Nothing beats NY fall. The mood is just right and its just the right temperature for walking the streets

  • I agree that you should visit the outer boroughs, just not the bronx since its 75% eyesore, and not Staten Island either since it is basically suburban and sparsly populated, better make it Queens or Brooklyn which are only like 30% eyesore and have large expanses of urban, diverse, clean and safe areas.

  • I JUST WAISTED 9:24 MINS OF MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @supadupaweirdo wasted *

  • @supadupaweirdo then why the fuck did you watch the whole video dumbass

  • @TheJerkwave

i thought it might get inserted in the end..i was wrong -.-

  • every scene he has a diffrent accent

  • @MyMerlin1 Why do you think it is the best city in the world?

  • @culturacolombia London has 2000 years of history , the Beautiful tower bridge , a real castle , the london eye , the worlds first and oldest underground Railway System , St Paul's Cathedral and much much more.

  • Going to Manhattan this summer!!

I never get to go, yet I live in New York State. Go figure :P

  • Next summer I'm going to Miami and New York the summer after that! I can't wait!

  • Why do you HAVE to tip the taxi driver

  • @Icebolt666 thats a standard procedure in the US. 15% is the "decent" rate here. This also applies when you're in a restaurant / bar.

  • @sugizo88 What would happen if you did'nt tip them o_O

  • @Icebolt666

It is just the way it goes. If you don't tip the taxi driver, he could give you tremendous attitude. Not tipping the driver is like walking out on a check in a restaurant. You can pay your fare with a debit or credit card, and that makes it a lot easier. But really, the subways are so fast and efficient, you are better off using them as much as you can.

  • Hey New York fags, I now pronounce you man and husband. You may now f@ck each other in the ass!

  • @MyMerlin1 The World Is Coming To An End Slowly But For Surly When Every City Does This Fag Shit Lol

  • My dream!

  • @SEVENTHSON89 my too :/

  • @KidKashV2

dude! you are from USA ;p lucky you, im from Poland so....

  • i'm from austria, europe. i was in new york in summer 2010 and i love it there! i was in florida and washington too but new york was the best. sorry for the perhaps bad english i'm only 13 years old.

  • As a New Yorker, I can saw you've captured the spirit of the city well :) I'm impressed that you fit in all these attractions in a 9 minute video.

  • I am from NYC, live in Houston, TX now but traveled alot as a pilot. NYC has more alternative stuff too like sm fetish parties, tons of good punk rock (afi, rise against -il) and of course diversity. TONS of Vegans and Vegetarian foods for all the rastas and progressives. This music is not my style and nyc is getting too
