  • this game always inspires me to draw

will ♥ you forever Okami :,)

  • One of the alltime greatest pieces of Okami. This is the reason I am making a fanfiction dedicated to the moonlight beauty Kaguya because of her.

  • Only song i can think clearly to..

  • One person got lost in the Bamboo Forest, how sad. =[

  • @Clawshawt Don't worry; Mokou will show the way out.

  • @TheGapYoukai

    Oh you. (=u=)b

  • I feel somehow miserable....What happened really to Kaguya? I have only beaten Okamiden once, and I don´t know if I missed a clue....Somebody answer me!!!! XD

  • this song makes me sad for Kaguya

she goes of to look for her family and jugding be the evidence shes from the moon trible like waka but they all died so the only one she has is mr.bamboo

i love this game okami for eva

  • Makes me want to go to Japan and get myself lost in a bamboo forest.

  • Eirin~ Eirin~ Tasukete Ei- wait wrong song

  • I love the difference between this Kaguya and the "other" Kaguya this song links to.

  • i feel so sorry for mr bamboo now since he's alone with nobody left in his family i believe

  • i luv kaguya so much!

  • oh yeah this game blew me away I can't believe I added something that beautiful to my life experience!!!

  • This game is fantastic! I love this song.

  • I loveeee the bamboo forest!! i wished it was more big

  • One of the prettiest songs in the game! And the picture goes with it perfectly. I've always thought the bamboo forest was one of the neatest areas in Okami - very peaceful.

  • @amaterasuXrising i know right?

  • the most beautiful song in the game, in my opinion.

so full of sensitivity and sadness, and of course so telling of her tale and confusion

  • ahh..see, the thing i love about okami's music and the game, its so full of emotion. and not FAKE emotion, like those other games, this one has a ton of meaning. and..its..just..the best game ever...

  • wow...breathtaking.

  • Okami has the most beautiful soundtrack. It's so well composed. I can't get enough! <3 Thanks for uploading, this is one of my favorites.

  • OMG!!

    i love this song!!

    it kinda relax me ^.^

    by the way...

where did you found the picture?

    i really like it xD

    is it from DA?

  • @regisz96

Ahh, Such beatiful music it is...I remember seeing this very photo from the game Okami. It was after you finish the game that you have access to music and photos of the game the Clover Studios created.

  • thankies ^.^

and yeah, it really is a beautiful song

  • wonderful music... and I love that picture! :3

  • I picked this game up on a whim the first day my local store started carrying it and I can't stop re playing.

I was a die hard Final Fantasy player now I'm praying for number 2. I Emailed the creators about it but only got an answer that it depended on sales of the first game.

  • Well guess what? There's a sequel on its way, from what I hear. It's called Okamiden. :>

  • with the adventures of amaterasu's son, chibiterasu, and Susanoo's son, nushi.

  • The wolf lives on... Wooohoooo!!!

  • Yeah but it's only for DS.

  • i L♥V bamboo and ammy!!!

  • it really surpirised me how many Japanese folktales they managed to cram in there!

  • @Anonymous738 =P idk y xD

  • @mileypetshopfan Played Touhou before?

  • @Anonymous738 no lol

  • @mileypetshopfan Then don't worry, you won't get it.

  • This track makes me have a lump in my throat it's so beautiful...; ^ ; <3 I need to get back to playing this soon, I miss it so much.

  • this theme is one of the best i`ve heard on Okami and....wow the picture man the picture it`s so great it gose well with Kaguya's Theme..good job.;

  • I was a bit dissapointed. Of corse now i realize im just dissapointed it ends. That alone will dissapoint you. Im so sad their never coming out with a sequel. Like one in the Celestial Plane.

  • Awesome video. I`ve heard of Okami, but I`ve never actually played it. What`s it like/about? Judging just from the music alone, though, it must be a really good game. 5/5.

  • this game is absolutely stunning! i highly reccomend it to everyone who has a ps2 or wii. it has a great story and very unique graphics.

  • Yes,GETITGETIGETITGETIT

    Just epic.

  • Thanks for the reply. Yeah, the graphics were the first thing I noticed were the graphics XD They look a lot like Japanese-Style Calligraphy Brush strokes, whic I`ve never seen in a game before. I think I might get it, it sounds really good.

  • the game is about a reborn god called Shiranui Okamikon Amaterasu that goes around the land of nippon with his humorous and innappropiate sidekick Issun. Together they find gods, meet many people, learn brush techniques that affect the world around them, and destroy the many omnipresent monsters in the land.

Including Okamis archnemesis that killed him 100 years ago Orochi the dragon who has also been reborn. The game is suprisingly long and very epic.

    BUY IT!!

  • Shiranui Okamikon Amaterasu? S Okami comes from Okamikon.....doesn`t it mean "Great God"? It would make sense then, seeing as its about a reborn God. Amaterasu`s one of thesiblings of 2 other Gods, Susano and Tsukiyomi, right? Anyway, it sounds awesome. Meeting Gods, people, an fighting an ancient evil reborn, and learning brush strokes, this game must be really amazing. Yeah, I think I`ll get it, my birthday`s coming up this month. Would I be able to find it out any game store?

  • Sorry, I meant "AT any game store." By that, I mean could I find it at an EB Games Sotre, or Wal-Mart, or would I have to do a bit of searching for it?

  • Oh about the graphics you talked about earlier it's a unique type they have used in various games like the latest prince of persia called cell shader graphics! ^.^

  • Yeah you could definitely find the Wii version at Wal-mart or any of those other places, but it's the PS2 version that's the best. You might have a little more trouble finding that though.

  • That could most likely be found at Gamestop or Target occassionally when they have those sales on old games. Gamestop is the best because they will actually look it up in their database and tell you if they or any other gamestop has it and when^^

  • I've heard other people say that too. Just curious... why is the PS2 version the best? I have the PS2 version... I don't own a Wii so other than the assumption that brushstrokes might be easier on the Wii I don't know the difference

  • I'm also curious how the PS2 version is the best? I have the Wii version and the brush strokes definitely seem easier than on the PS2 version and the motion controls fit in quite well. Hm, maybe people say it's the best because it's the original...

  • IMO making a few short strokes with my thumb felt a little easier than the same strokes done with my whole wrist moving.

  • I have both versions the celestial brush on the wii version is prettty trick to use

  • I guess it's because there are some things not in the Wii version that the PS2 one has? For one thing, the scoll credits at the end isn't in the Wii version, as well as the parchment filter? It's in there, but not as prominent as in the PS2 (For people wondering, if you stop in one place and move the camera around you'll notice a still texture. That's it~)

I don't really like how it looks graphically, as it's not as 'soft' as the PS2, but ah. That's only me~

  • yeah... the ps2 version was a whole lot more... vibrant, it was very colourful, the wii version is a bit darker but i love them both ^_^

  • It is an awesome game,I have both versions still play both.

  • A great 8-headed dragon named Orochi is released onto the world and you, the Sun Goddess Amaterasu, have to stop him. If you get it, get it for the PS2.

  • ...?

  • Zombie2300 stop joking with InBloom^^ This game is so great I'm surprised there isn't a summary on each video^^

  • @AuraKshatriya108 I would play it on the wii. the controls are much smoother. Also, if you liked twilight princess you'll love this game. TP was my fav until i played this.

  • @speigelseigel omg that was the exact same with me but i play okami on the ps2 and zelda on the gamcube

  • @zelda11fan i played zelda on gc too. i had to go with left handed link for as long as i could hahaha. excited for skyward sword though!!

  • @AuraKshatriya108 it is an unbelievably and actually even shockingly good game! it is my favorite. If your into things like manga or anime especially. i could go on for hours talking about this masterpiece. The music talent is just another awesome addition to the stunning features in this game. My favorite song is Tribe of Heavenly Kami,or as some say theme of the celestials. I have played this game 3 times now and its amazing how many new things are there to discover. Its and unforgettable game.

  • @MrMangaEater

I hate manga and anime and this is my favorite game of all time. Sadly most of the interesting unique games these days are coming from the west only. The Japanese gaming industry is in a slump.

  • @AuraKshatriya108 When I first played it I got a bad first impression of the game.. Luckily I pulled through for some miracle reason and it turned out to be the best game I've played in my life! Definately worth buying. Hell, I'd give 10000 dollars if I could forget I played the game and then play it over again :)

  • @AuraKshatriya108 It's a lot like Zelda games, but a bit easier. The concept is very similar; you go into a dungeon, find a point you can't pass, (usually,) find a new item, (in this case, brush technique,) and you move on. There are a lot of sidequests and extra ablities, and without spoiling anyhting, very big plot twistst aht you usually don't find in Zelda games. There are a few problems with the camera, and the controls take a bit of getting used to, but otherwise it's an amazing game.
