ya i no dude i had the bike in gear so i was just trying 2 start it with my hand on the cluth and it wasnt a cold start that was maybe like 3 hours into riding. i always let my bike warm up before i ride it. but thanks for the info.

2 pieces of advice

1) If you want to start up the bike first kick, do a few compression strokes, as in put your foot on the kickstarter and push down softly and slowly until it bottoms out, then do this 2 or 3 more times, then give it one hard kick and it should start straight up

2) Dont ride the bike seconds after you just started it up, the engine is not warm and therefore the parts aren't ready for high stress, also your fuel is not oxidizing, it is very easy to damage your engine this way.
