From my standpoint, I knew the most expensive was the Dodgers because of the number of games, and the least expensive was the Raiders for the same reason. The Lakers were definately a bigger draw then the Kings so for the same number of home games, the Lakers were more expensive. I had them right too. Too bad there was no StubHub or eBay back then.
@shoredude2 The Clippers were in San Diego in 1983, and the Rams had moved down to Anaheim (although they were still the Los Angeles Rams). Plus, the Raiders won Super Bowl XVIII around this time.
You know why they replaced the Rams with the Raiders during the "ticket package" era? Because the Rams moved down to Anaheim in 1980. They must not have played for this sports package between that time and when the Raiders moved to LA (1982).
Actually, I stand corrected. I just saw an episode from December of 1981 where they played "Danger Price" for the Season Ticket packages (Dodgers, Lakers, Rams, Kings).
I know TPIR pricing games Race Game, Take Two, and Danger Price were played for LA sport team season tickets, but has former TPIR pricing game Poker Game done this as well?
Drew would rather give more "ultimate fan" packages -- be at field-level, pit passes to NASCAR, Grand Slam tennis, and Final Four tickets (Jim Nantz will "model" that prize!)
@uofmrules1 But The Have The LA Galaxy, It's An MLS Soccer Team!

Give Mike Richards an idea and he'd do something like this again. Oakland Raiders would be the football team since LA currently doesn't have a team.

Average price per game for the season tickets (in case anyone cares)
Dodgers--$12 (81 games)
Kings--$17.20 (40 games)
Lakers--$20.49 (41 games)
Raiders--$45 (8 games)

@Tubewings Good job on the average.

Probably not. Those prices wouldn't work well for Poker Game.
bduddy55555 3 years ago
You don't see this like that on current Drew Carey TPIR.

I can tell you what the Kings do...
They fight and a hockey game breaks out!
lucyrickyalex 3 years ago
If the game were played now, would the football team now be the San Diego Chargers? Or even the USC Trojans?
eduardo002 3 years ago
A sports fan would know the Dodgers were the highest and the Raiders the lowest, due to the number of games played.
