  • @uofmrules1 But The Have The LA Galaxy, It's An MLS Soccer Team!

  • the Kings are a hockey team

  • SHE IS SOOOOOO STUPid

  • Give Mike Richards an idea and he'd do something like this again. Oakland Raiders would be the football team since LA currently doesn't have a team.

  • lol funny What do yhe kings do.

  • Very much later in the run in Season 40, Race game was played for 4 cars.

  • If my wife lost this, she better not bother coming home

  • hey bob you been do this for a long time

  • They can't really do this in LA anymore since there's no football team there...well maybe with the Chargers.

  • From my standpoint, I knew the most expensive was the Dodgers because of the number of games, and the least expensive was the Raiders for the same reason. The Lakers were definately a bigger draw then the Kings so for the same number of home games, the Lakers were more expensive. I had them right too. Too bad there was no StubHub or eBay back then.

  • lol she didnt know the LA kings thats funny most not be a hockey fan at all

  • So they had a different music for Race Game back in 1983, huh? I honestly NEHVUR knew that!

  • Bob: "Of course they're $840, Barker. The other two are right."

    LOL!!.

  • wow, either soccer or hockey....i guess gretzky really made an impact when he came down there

  • Jeez, I would've loved to been here when this happened. XD

  • No Clippers or Rams tickets???

  • @shoredude2 The Clippers were in San Diego in 1983, and the Rams had moved down to Anaheim (although they were still the Los Angeles Rams). Plus, the Raiders won Super Bowl XVIII around this time.

  • They done the 4 LA teams tickets in Danger Price one year.

  • Barker was on his game.

  • Average price per game for the season tickets (in case anyone cares)

    Dodgers--$12 (81 games)

    Kings--$17.20 (40 games)

    Lakers--$20.49 (41 games)

    Raiders--$45 (8 games)

  • @Tubewings Good job on the average.

  • Thanks for posting this TPIR Classic Moment when they were giving away season tickets to Southern California Sports Teams on Race Game.

  • You know why they replaced the Rams with the Raiders during the "ticket package" era? Because the Rams moved down to Anaheim in 1980. They must not have played for this sports package between that time and when the Raiders moved to LA (1982).

  • Actually, I stand corrected. I just saw an episode from December of 1981 where they played "Danger Price" for the Season Ticket packages (Dodgers, Lakers, Rams, Kings).

  • @Tubewings you're correct again!!! I iwsh they could do it now with all the LA teams, or even NY teams, or Chicago!!

  • She must be more of a patron of the arts than a sports fan.

  • how many times did someone went without saying GO!

  • NEAT! I would love to win those prizes!

  • I know TPIR pricing games Race Game, Take Two, and Danger Price were played for LA sport team season tickets, but has former TPIR pricing game Poker Game done this as well?

  • Probably not. Those prices wouldn't work well for Poker Game.

  • You don't see this like that on current Drew Carey TPIR.

  • Drew would rather give more "ultimate fan" packages -- be at field-level, pit passes to NASCAR, Grand Slam tennis, and Final Four tickets (Jim Nantz will "model" that prize!)

  • I can tell you what the Kings do...

They fight and a hockey game breaks out!

  • If the game were played now, would the football team now be the San Diego Chargers? Or even the USC Trojans?

  • A sports fan would know the Dodgers were the highest and the Raiders the lowest, due to the number of games played.

  • what is the kings fanbase like now?

  • BEAT LA, BEAT LA, BEAT LA! BEAT LA!!!! and GO Giants!!!

  • Goes to show, you can be absolutely clueless on this show, and still win something.

  • What airdate is this?

  • 1983

  • Funny that she won the Kings tickets.

  • Too bad the Sharks weren't around then. The Kings had no idea what was in store for them.
