Good god, this interview could have been a lot better. Why wouldn't Harvard audition people for this position. Did he win a contest for Christs sake? Its painful, they let some fan boy do this..disappointed. Awkward, awkward stage set up too- it's not a circus act dammit, he's an actor.
You /can/ be a passionate moderate, but it obviously wouldn't work for the type and level of satire Stephen's performing on. Love him, ridiculously intelligent guy.
Great interview,I wish the interviewer wasn't so awkward at time. I know hes young, but he is interviewing a master interviewer, in Colbert, so he has to be a little sharper.
The interviewer's questions are great. I don't know what the haters are talking about. And I love Stephen's analyses/answers. Although... I don't agree that you can't be a passionate moderate. I do agree however that being a passionate moderate wouldn't be as effective as being a passionate right-winger for the meglomania part of his character.
Incredible as it uses neurolinguistic to subtly take the course of the interview. The gesture of the hand are not natural, is to stir the subconscious of listeners. The jokes are part of it. This guy is a snake ...
Colbert should be a professor, did u hear what he said: a set of avenging angels make up a cult of personality, which requires megalomania, which requires a monolithic tone... u can't be passionately moderate, it's like wearing extra medium
this is only a good video because of stephens brilliant responses even though the interviewer really sux...its pretty sad when the student doesnt know what stephen colbert is speaking of when the interviewer ONLY goes to harvard!! thats what happens when money speaks louder than intellectualism
this student is terribleeee, hes cute enough i guess but nooo fun, and kinda stupid, neither clear nor real, as Colbert says. love his traction speach. the student is intimidated by his crush on Stephen. Harvard is blaaahhhh
The interviewer is... How can I say it? "Quite moronic"? Is he an Harvard man? Really? Wow... And I thought you had to be brilliant to get to an Heavy League College. Well... There's still hope for everyone I guess. Youtube says the first part of this interview is not available in my country due to copyright restrictions...
"AN" harvard man? "AN HEAVY" league college? really? wow... guess you didn't go to one of those either. (btw - its A harvard man and an ivy league school) moron
oh trust me you don't have to be brilliant to get into harvard. trust me, i'm in there and i'm a regular dude that likes to party and fuck up from time to time. Its all about situations, who do you meet and what circumstance happens to you. But you know, some of us "harvard folk" are not unreasonable liberals and intelectuals... some of us are just trying to have a better life. and of course, there's hope for evey1

You idiots Viacom, don't you understand no one is ever going to pay to watch this? Just means more people watching are going to find out who he is and will watch him at 11:30 along with the Pringles commercials, money in your pockets. It'll get reposted, don't worry
This wasn't taped and aired by Viacom, was it? I mean, this seems like some guy in a crowd with a camera, and Viacom has no rights to that. If that's the case, I'd contest the complaint.
Interviewer sucks terribly, i'm sure Harvard has some form of media program where they have a handful of interesting and outgoing students that can actually form some kind of conversation.
salamat sa video! very entertaining
