  • Id like to hear you play. "In The Willow Garden"

  • have you done "In the Bleak Midwinter"?

  • This is absolutely beautiful Tim. Ever think of making a recording of you Carol interpretations? I think it could be hugely popular with people seeking a less commercial christmas/yuletide experience.

  • @spinzorelli Yeah man- I'm almost done with the recording! Hopefully it'll be out this year...

  • @spinzorelli -- You got that right! What a great idea!

  • @isabellanakahara My new album Star in the East is coming out finally- next week! Details will be on my facebook page and website...

  • @batfancy - Great! I'm looking forward to that! Cool!

  • @spinzorelli Finally my new album of carols is coming out next week in a limited edition of 500 numbered copies. The details will be on my facebook page and website.

  • No brolgas. I guess this is a different carol of the birds.

  • bajo sexto????

  • yes! In a different tuning.

  • Listening to this, I think you could pull off a WICKED version of Twa Corbies. The haunting drone of your voice and guitar come together just perfectly to create a sound that's just melt-worthy. I'm a sucker for that ancient drone.

  • A beautiful video, all the way 'round. Glad I saw it in Dan's favorites. Lovely.

  • Incredible!! Tim Erikson is now among my all time favs. WOWOW!!! Great!!!

  • A Bajo Sexto! It was there in the comments all the time. I never heard one played like this before. It has a beautiful voice.

  • Nerdy question, I know, but what tuning do you use in this piece?

  • I don't remember the notes, but the bajo sexto is in pairs with the top three in unison and bottom three in octaves which I usually have tuned, starting with the far pair: 1. 5th above 2. tonic 3. 5th below 4. maj 3rd an octave down 5. minor 7th an octave down 6. tonic an octave down.

  • I've never heard this carol before. It's beautiful. Where is it from?

  • the setting is truly beautiful and the song and your voice are awesome.....5*****

  • Lovely... you weave into your song a spirit both young and ancient. Thank you for this lovely walk in the winter wood and the sweet song of the water flowing in its paths.

  • Gorgeous! In birding, when we see a species of bird we've never seen before, we call that bird a life bird. This is the first time I'm hearing this particular song, so, for me, it's a life SONG. Thank you!

  • really beautiful song - thanks!
