  • I can't get the board to stay with my back foot

  • @copierofvideos

He isn't trying, he is just showing us how to get our ollies off the ground.

  • best ollie vid that i've seen!

  • Nice ollies man you should use those on some stair sets

  • what kinda wheels are those?

  • Another fail ollie tip. He shows you the foot positioning. Then when he shows you the slide, he moves his foot down then slides.

  • when i ollie i hardly get of the ground ive tried it in different positions it doesent work some people say your not jumping with your back foot enough but i do do it high

  • @MrAlabamaam here's a tip bro,land it!!!

  • I am good at the ollie, I don't know why I am watching this.

  • @RapidHate ha same here

  • @RapidHate me too...

  • you know.. err.. start with curbs an-BBSHSHCHSCHCSHHCSHSCH

  • goofy=regular it doesnt matter. at the end u still have to learn how to do tricks in diffrent stances.

  • I've watched alot of videos on how to ollie, for some reson this has been the most helpful! thanks for the help!

  • ITS NOT WHT KIND OF FOOTED POSITION THT MAKES UR OLLIE HIGHER,is HOW FAR U CAN JUMP,tsk

and it doesn't really matter guys, come on...

everyone is diff, world will be boring without goofys and regulars

    happy skating!

  • oh yes,Andrew Brophy is one of best today for highest ollies.(also regular footer)

  • and this video is about the ollie.regular footers definitely win on this one.alan did it some 30+ years ago.but then hey,who knows I'm doing switch ollies all day long too.

  • so wheres that guy that was taking about goofy footers are the best, hmm.he dont REALLY know i guess.allen ollie gelfand (regular footer)

  • okay hensly is my favorite for style(regular).but mullen is regular too, damn.even the inventor of the ollie is regular, soo there you go

  • regular footers are the best as far as street goes.i know theres kosten, hensley and maybe mullen.but regular footers are the top riders today.malto is one of them.

  • MAYBE Mullen? He definitely skates regular. :P

  • MAYBE Mullen? He definitely skate regular. And don't you think that's a bit biased? I mean, Daewon is goofy, and he is up there with Sean. Rob Dyrdek has a really sick style, and I've never seen Malto do backside 360s out of boardslides like he does. And that was a while ago, and he's still tech, even if he doesn't do many video parts anymore.

  • it took me like a day to learn a ollie when i was 12. haven't skated in years, i can't even get it off the ground anymore lol

  • i dont think he is trying to impress anyone.its just to show how high to expect your first successful ollie

  • kermit the frog hmmmmmm

  • fuck regular

  • @lovingboarding, im with you man. goofy all the way

  • I guess im lucky, it took me about 10 mintues to learn my stationary ollie, and an afternoon for my moving ollie. PRACTICE PRACTICE

  • rlly? if ur not lying thats frikken crazy takes most ppl a week or so to get the stationary ollie so they can do it every time

  • Adidas campus? niceeee jarvis :)

  • Dear GirlFromInvaderZim, not that im tryin to call you out, but it is indeed the foot scraping that levels and also helps lift your board. I have done much research as far as the physics of skateboarding. Did you know almost 300psi are channeled through your tail into the ground when you ollie?! The snap of the tail shoots the board upward, your front foot simultaneously scrapes upward and forward on the board, raising it that much further off the ground and leveling it out at the same time.

  • no one gives a shit

  • not really, its your back foot thathelps it level, if you pop the tail and keep your foot down, you get a 2inch ollie

  • Nice ollie,

but the idea is wrong. the scrape doesn't level the board, it gets it into the air. if you pop and jump without scraping, the board wont rise.

  • ollies took me 2 weeks to learn

  • Sadly, trick tips tend not to help me. I just look at general foot placement on these, and then figure it out for myself. Just practice practice practice. Ollies took me a few months to master.

  • thanks still cant ollie but

  • me too!!! and he got a haircut... lol.. Are you guys gonna redo most of the tricks??? like the tre flip... cause I really couldn't figure it out... I come to you guys for tips..

  • thanks! now i know how to ollie!
