@CityzenJane Very true. My point was that even when we are acting rationally (doing a cost/benefit analysis to choose which option to go with, or working through a trigonometry problem, etc.), we're still being biological machines. It may seem like such behavior is an escape from the feelings and impulses that would otherwise drive us, but that is the illusion. Rationality is not disembodied or emotionally unbiased; it is built up from those same feelings and impulses.
1 small point to consider: Viacom has a right to free speech - which means they have the right to self censure. This is not to say thy don't have a responsibility to keep us informed as a steward of the airwaves. However, radical Islamists (or Christians or atheists or any otehr ideology) has no right to intimidate them to censure. That's why the fight is with the radicals and not with Viacom. Though ultimately, it should also teach Viacom to have some balls.
I agree that for some it's about racism, but Muslim for me doesn't mean that. Most of the Muslims I knew in the states are white or black skinned, so for me, it's not against Middle Easterners with brown skin or whatever. Hell, for me it's not even going against Islam really. They just happen to get more in a tizzy than others over things drawn. Maybe next I can draw an American flag being burned. That will be interesting to see the response to... Nationalism can be dangerous too.
@BeatManSpank Ha - not at all - though in previous eras I would surely be burned at the stake...probably by multiple camps for completely different reasons having only a little bit to do with my red hair.
@NubianTribesman Thanks! The tough thing is a lot of people are really acting out of an idealism and an intention for a better world....and then some clowns with serious problems are jumping on...
hopefully i will be a bit clearer when they are all up... can't promise though!
Great argument and I hope alot of the people who watch this video reeeeeally tune in and consider what you're saying. Welcome back.

Rationality is a product of, component of, and function of biology. The idea that the two are somehow separate is merely an illusion.

@CousinoMacul actually - rationality is an illusion... we justify after the fact in most cases...
