What a sham. Thanks to its ceo, that nasty little irish mick, Alan Joyce, QANTAS has become a laughing stock amongst the world's leading o'seas air-carriers. Lots of Aussies have vowed .. 31st Oct 2011 .. never to fly with QANTAS ever again .. me included .. & with good reason.

@colindominy You might want to look a little closer to home before you point the finger at Alan Joyce. The unions are trying to force Qantas into being uncompetitive. Yes it is for the immediate benefit of the employees, but long term Qantas will not be able to stay competitive because other airlines are prepared to outsource for lower running costs when they don't. its a tricky line to tread and its a whole lot more complicated than pointing your finger at one man (with unecessary racial slurs)

For some reason people believe Enya had something to do with this song. She has NOTHING to do with it.

It was composed by Hans Zimmer and Lisa Gerrard and is in the movie Gladiator.

Whoever was in charge of the music for this ad did a horrible job in REcreating this beautiful song.

@Parkobear im not sure who sings THIS version for this ad, but the song is called 'now we are free' its from the Gladiator soundtrack, and the singer is Lisa Gerard. I advise you listen to her version, it is soo much better that this version has NO comparison! :)
