My issue with this is that if you are on a drug card, it covers only the oldest, least effective, most addictive versions of pharmaceuticals.
If you're wealthy, you get top quality, later released targeted psych drugs. If you're poor, you get the more dangerous concoctions that can cause more problems than they solve.
Life and having mental health struggles are hard enough without getting incorrect medications & dosages because the Ontario Drug Card won't pay for the most effective choices.

I think most of them are invented by the pharmaceutical companies to promote a corresponding new drug.
