hey question, in terms of the treble, middle, and bass, what would i use to get that metal sound you said for finger style? becuase whatever i try, i cant really find a good mix between them, so i was wondering for your help. me being a guitarist, i know all about guitar settings, but i have a 4 string ibenez bass that ive been playing too recently, with my fingers ^.^ and im either getting this bass or a 5 string esp im not sure yet. so mind telling me good sounds setting and which bass is betr
i have that bass, if you traded it in i have that exact bass, like the one your holding, in other words i think i bought your bass, it had that exact same sticker on the back.... kinda creepy but watever!! i love that bass for the most part
@HouseHoldGuy1 lol thats nuts!!! i thought i had one of those rare moments... i just bought a trb 1006 and put bartolini's in it.... needless to say..... i stopped playin my ltd.... thinkin about selling it but im nut sure i may wanna just put a new pre amp and pickups and see wat it does
@HouseHoldGuy1 i really like it amped up its really midish and it cuts through and the low end is very very good for a bass but after a while it just didnt give me EVERYTHING i wanted alot just because of its accoustic sound... the pickup grabs the accoustic sound from the bass first and then you're able to morph and mend it however you see fit but it starts First with the accoustic sound of the bass.... so when i found a bass that sounded great to me accoustically, it made ampin up better
dude this is scary... yea you traded that bass in and i bought it, it had that exact same sticker on the back, it took like 8 years to get it off!!!! lol
i got this bass commin in the mail, it's the best deal on a 6-string i could find anywhere. Im a huge warwick fan and i traded my corvette standard 4-string for this ESP, i got to have 6-strings, lol
Anyway, good review overall, could have been a bit more in depth on the nut , bridge, and neck. and i think the B-206 SM comes with ESP pickips and bridge not EMG's.
FTW! 1st comment. I just bought this bass yesterday and I'm really lovin' it. I came from an Ibanez 5er so, the string spacing for me is a bit tight. I play lots of Mudvayne and Wooten/Jaco stuff. But good video dude. Keep up the usage on this bass

how is the neck of that? is it comfortable to play on and does it stay straight?
MrBassman153 8 months ago
How does it handle alternate tunings? say drop c with a set of heavier gauge strings.

I'm a guitarist and I can get this 6 string bass for 300 euros.. Is it a good first bass for a guitarist qualitywise? Is it a wellbuilt instrument?
Hope you can help me man. :)

Played one of these at Sam Ash today, fell in love with it straight off the bat! Plan on adding one to my collection soon.

@jaejarmaal hmm
if you modify it, at least you can sell it for more money if you still wouldn't play it
HouseHoldGuy1 1 year ago
@jaejarmaal that Yamaha looks a lot like this one though. why did you get a new one?
HouseHoldGuy1 1 year ago
@HouseHoldGuy1 well it looks absolutely beautiful and it sounds amazingly great ACOUSTICALLY better than the ltd so i bought it....

@osous6stringbass emg actually makes the esp pickups so i guess emg is also kinda acceptable for esp pickups.

Hey man,
may I ask what the action is like on this bass? is it nice and low? that would be awesome.
Many thanks!
jjVI 1 year ago
@jjVI
Yes it is nice and low. Not so low that the strings clang around too much, but still low enough that you can access all the strings comfortably.

P.S. what AMP / Head were you running through???
Osous6stringbass 1 year ago
@Osous6stringbass
Yea i had to have 6 strings as well lol. I know i messed up on the pickups, I didnt realize it until after I uploaded the video.
The amp im playing through in the video is just a little Fender Rumble 15 combo.
