i think that one was 16 meters..... but now our track changes size and shape for each race..... the next race will be the most boring yet, but fast and close racing with Nascars.... it will be the classic rectangular Indianapolis 500 circuit. Hope to have a video of that evening of races

LOL, yeah I see what you mean, i just had to turn off the lane change to stop the numerous cars from crashing every few seconds so that i could concentrate on the filming. If you check my other clips, the lane changing is turned on. Check the LeMans endurance clip and the Arcade Fire video.
looking at either doing this circuit well similar or catuluyna i think thats how its spelt because this is smaller others a bit big but is this circuit still good when you race f1
With the normal scalextric, you have one car per track. So on a normal 2 lane track, you can only race 2 cars. If you want to race 4 cars, you need 4 lanes. But with digital, you can have 6 cars on 2 lanes. And you can choose which lane you want to be on on the digital crossover sections. In this video the cars don't change lanes, but check out my other videos. For a good example, type "fulham scalextric orbital" in the search box of YouTube. No fuel strategy with normal scalextric.

Use your laptop and powerbase pro (not by Scalextric either)
Scalextric Sport Digital Console (SSDC) resolves this by connecting the powerbase to a Windows based PC, and displaying the wealth on information in a more accessible format. You can adjust the fuel burning rate to each car, change size of fuel tank, etc
It's brilliant. I shall film how it works at our next race meeting.
in the video, you see an Audi, aston martin, opel and porsche, but it's not obvious
the club supplies the cars, and we try to make the minis the same balance to have a fair race, the cars are allocated randomly and the fuel strategy is up to the individual

I absolutely love this group. This track in particular, though Clear Cut is a big tighter.

All those cars, all those lane change sections, a 5 minute video and not 1 single car changing lanes?

Very nice (as usual). Did I count 8 cars running at one point? At least 3 must be ghost cars then?
Bacardibeast 3 years ago
Hey there Bacardi!
I can't quite remember how many, but they were all set as pace cars. I shall try to add more cars next time. It'll look like the M25 with 2 lanes
