  • @JaRondaAlston Thanks babe

  • Daaaaaaaaaaaaaang that was a perfect job!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Niphicks lol.. (blushing) THANKS!!

  • @Contagioushairstyles Lol, But Yes, It's The Best I've Seen Her On Youtube. & I Wanted To Know How To Do A Closure W/out Cutting & You Were The Only One Who Said Roll It Up & ... Everyone One Else Was Cutting & Rolling Then Gluing. AWESOME!

  • unbe-weeve-able

  • HOW LONG CAN U LEAVE THAT IN

  • @babybluedivine depends on activity but some can last months... HOWEVER.. as a professional, it should be removed within 2wks

  • Can this be used on Caucasian hair? Are there any videos on our type hair done this way? Once this quickweave is applied, is your hair not washable until you want to remove it?

  • it came out realy nice

  • I usually hate the look of quick weaves with a passion! Looks great! Very natural, and the cutting skills are tight! If I were a local I'd definately book an appt.

  • woooooooooooooooow!

    that shit was hot LOL

  • OMG that is like the prettiest weave on earth

  • ur cut is luscious

  • You're awesome girlie! Thanks for sharing such detailed information.

  • I can't read the instructions because of the little green box up box

  • wow

  • can you use the glue free on a invisible part weave?

  • Anywhere you put glue

  • do you still need to use glue or do the hair stick to this product

  • wow really didn't think it would look dat good! well done

  • ive been hearing a lot about this. we just used pure Lotta Body setting lotion and let it dry and it does the same as this. but i like to try new things so i mite try this asap. thanx for the vid.

  • thats really cool :D

  • I use this stuff, I really love it.. It really does work, n it wash out pretty easy

  • Her hair turned out very cute!!

  • Thanks!

  • That's a great technique! On ei haven't seen beofre, I'll definately try it!

  • that was pretty cool. but it looks like it may be easier to buy a wig. Do you know how to do the glueless quickweave with an invisible part?

  • This is just for those who use glue when installing a weave. Yes I do install the invisible part method.

  • very nice! how do u layer the hair like that? what kind of hair u use? yaki?

  • I layer the hair with a razor. It is not as intimidating as it looks. Check out my website for the Hot vibe razor, it makes it so easy, my 9 year old razors my sew in's with it :) No lie!

  • how much does to cost to get it done?

  • I charge $100 for my Glue-Free Quickweaves but it depends on your area. Some charge $45-$150 just for a regular quickweave.

  • i am reallly interested in doinq quick weaves myself because its hard findinq some1 in my area to do it like i want it. im very picky & i like unqiue styles lol. this video makes it look so easy tho. what do i need to do before i try it out on my head?

  • Nothing really, just the materials to do a quickweave which is what I have shown in the vid. You need to sub if you haven't because I put up DIY vids and in the meantime check out my razor'd bob quickweave tutorial.

  • I think this is a wonderful product, and I'm dying to try it. My only thing is that my head itches really bad when I'm frustrated. Would I be able to get to my scalp when I needed to?

  • Use a rattail comb ;(

  • How long does the weave last? Being that itjust washes out so easy. can you show me ho it washes out?

  • Watch my other Glue-Free Tutorial

  • For everybody that wants to be all technical and stuff it is obvious he/she means when you take the style out you will be GLUE FREE! Duh! Come one people use your brains.

  • "For everybody that wants to be all technical and stuff it is obvious he/she means when you take the style out you will be GLUE FREE! Duh! Come one people use your brains."

    and I quote!, lol thanks

  • @Contagioushairstyles o didn't get it thanks cause i'm like is it a different glue or something feeling kinda of slow right now

  • Great video and great product. Me and the girls at my shop will definately be checking out this product. As a quickweave wearer I understand it perfectly. I am a hair weaver who dosen't quick weave but I wear them and i can't stand a stocking cap on my head so this product is perfect. Go girl this is genius! I would love to have seen the cut you did on the client. I am learning to perfect my bob hair cut skillz :0) Thanks for the great videos :0)

  • Thanks babe!

  • lolz this was in my "Suggested for You" section.

  • lol, I just viewed ur channel. Totally off huh? Have you been lookn at vids about glue or weaving maybe? I donno, Youtube rocks!!!

  • i think this was great..love tha hairstyle

  • You can check out my F.A.Q. video, I addressed this question there or you can just check out my response to honeylips00 below.

    Smooches

  • Your right, it's Glue-Free... lol

  • SMASHING!!!!!

  • Question? Why did do you call it a "Glue Free" Quick weave technique? I think because you still use glue, you should come up with a different name because "technically" its not glue free....

  • Well thanks babe, I guess we all have our "perception" of what it really is or maybe it's the way you choose to look at it, but what it really is an AWESOME product that eliminates the glue from coming in contact with your natural hair period. With those benefits who cares what it's called, lol.

  • can somebody tell me wich is the most healthy way to weave the hair? Thank you all.

  • I love the style/cut. This looks very natural!!

  • Thanks babe

  • I have natural long hair and want to try a different style. How do I mold my hair down if its long? It's too much hair to wrap flat. Won't all that glue on the tracks make my hair come out? I was going to just use a wig cap instead. Which is better for long hair? Also how long does it last? How do you do styles that show the edges?

  • I braid the hair down or do a ponytail mold for my natural clients. This product eliminates the glue from coming in contact with your hair. I would use a cap only if you do a braid mold. A quickweave lasts up to 4 weeks. You will just leave the edges out of your mold.

    HTH

  • How can I get this product, is there a website for ordering?

  • you can only purchase GPS online?

  • I purchased this product for my clients, and was amazed that it holds so tight, but releases as soon as the warm water touches it! I absolutely love this product. NO GLUE IS LEFT BEHIND!!!! Its amazing.

  • OMG, that's beautiful-

Can you do a vid on the cut, like a step by stepvid? I want to do my daughter's hair like that.

  • Looks good!

  • yeaaaa i found it at my local beauty would store for 19.99

  • Can you purchase these items at any hair store?

  • can someone please tell me if you can buy morning glory products in beauty supply stores or does it have to be online?

  • That is too cute!!!

  • Thanks love!

  • Girl you are welcome...I wish u can do my hair....lol...be blessed

  • omg i am so mad... i do hair and i hAVE been lookin for the hair product to use and i CAN NOT find it ANYWHERE!!! I NEED HELP LOOKIN FOR IT!!!!!!

  • so wheni cut the track and just put it on the wrap.... i dont need glue..... or spritz to support it....

  • Yes, you will still need to glue the wefts to your head.

  • Is there a WEBSITE I could buy this product from? I've been to 4 different stores and cannot find it.

  • I don't get it either!

  • isn't it better to stay natural and be yourself..?

  • Now that is totally a personal preference.

  • i dont get it, how is this glue free?

  • see below comment

  • Interesting product but I'm confused, are you still using glue to bond the weave to the hair? How is it "glue free"?

  • It's "glue-free" because after you apply the product no glue will touch your hair hence "glue-free"

  • hey, closing weaves has been a puzzling process for me, so your video helped a lot. what is the name of that product, i am licensed, and i'll like to perfect that technique...(if you don't mind)...

  • I gotta get this

  • i'm about to buy this in like 30min lol

i have a question though.... would it be ok if instead of a wrap, its the original pony with it flipped up and gelled ?? i have one client that LOVES quick weaves but its extremely hard for me to wrap her natural hair. i would believe its possible to.....i have natural hair too. its too thick to wrap and JUST long enough to pull in a pony sooo im gettin this for my self also.

  • Yes, just mold your hair like you do with any quickweave. You can wrap, braid, mold it straight back, up in a pony then gelled down, ect.

    HTH :)

  • so basically you cant wash your hair until you want to take it out right?

  • Correct, you can't wash your hair with any quickweave until you are ready to take it out.

  • Hello, can you get in the sauna or steam room at the gym?

    Thank you!!!!!!!

  • From customer feedback it is said that excessive sweat from working out/sauna's will break down the product around the hairline and cause the tracks to loosen in the temple and forehead area. So I wouldn't recommend it.

    HTH

  • Very nice!

  • wow

  • It's no surprise that this is your most viewed video! I love it, and the young lady looks GREAT when you're all done. I'm inspired to learn more about this technique, and maybe if I get brave enough, I will try it myself!

  • nice vid!

  • Thanks!

  • i have one more question...

if you want to make the wig-like quick weave could you put the GPS over the stocking cap to prevent the glue from seeping through to your real hair?

  • You can use a plastic cap (shower cap) under your stocking cap if you want to make a removable stocking cap quickweave (wig).

GPS is more for those that don't want to take their quickweave off. I still have clients that prefer a stocking cap for some reason so I apply the product over the cap, but to my knowledge, no one has used it as a wig.

  • I have never had quick weave done before and I've been thinking about it. How long does this style last? Good video, btw.

  • Longevity depends on how it's installed. This quickweave can last up to 4 weeks, regular quickweaves last about 2 weeks... some longer. Then you have a removable stocking cap quickweave which is basically a wig that you can take on and off.

  • I Love this video I never heard of a glue free weave so I learned a lot I wonder how much this latex glue costs? I never seen it before Im going to look for it today and experiment THANK YOU SO MUCH SWEETIE!!!!

  • do you no if there are any hair salons that do that in toledo

  • OH right? I know of a salon in Columbus. Not sure how far that is. The name is Spoiled Rott'n.

  • That was quite and amazing proccess, and the results looked wonderful!

  • You are an amazing home stylist...REALLY...Wonderful razor and scissor cut Bob!

  • Well thanks 1999. But tell me what is a "home stylist"? I'm just a regular licensed stylist so I don't know. I actually have my own salon but service clients both at the salon, at my home and at theirs.

  • Omg I've been on youtube forever, and I just found your page. Love it, I will be placing an order soon. Protecting my hair is really important to me.

  • Glad you found us love!

  • miss could you show demo on full head weave using braided and/or bonded in circular method....please please

  • Will try mahog.

  • Hey girl I am happy I found this video, I orderd me some gro protectiv solution and I'm ready to use it, i was wondering could you use the liquid gold glue instead of the latex glue, because my tracks always slip with the latex glue, and also I wanted to know what kind of hair you used on the models head I liked it the hair on your website is kinda pricey tho but yo stuff still fly.

  • Hey love,

You can use ANY ADHESIVE you want. This is what the product was made for, to protect against bonding glues and adhesives. We used Remy hair in this vid. I don't suggest it for quickweaves but the model preferred it so to each his own.

I would suggest a cheaper BSS brand like model model/milkyway, adorable, ect.

  • could you pleas post a vid using the glue free product and attaching a lace wig?

  • Sure,

I get a lot of request to do different techniques and I don't mind, it's just hard finding a client that isn't camera shy, lol.

But basically you will apply a thin layer just around your hairline instead of your entire head, allow to dry and proceed with your lace front app. But I will post a visual as soon as I can.

  • I will def try to for you Aries. Most of my clients are camera shy so it is hard doing demonstration vids but I got you!

  • love the video...

how long does the quick weave last? i have never had one?

  • This lasts up to 4 weeks. But I wouldn't keep a quickweave in longer than 2 for hygiene purposes!

  • I've been weaving my hair like this for over 9 years. It's easy, and washes right out. I still haven't mastered the bangs yet, but I will soon.

  • Cutting your own hair is very difficult alone not to mention your bangs. You'll get the hang of it though.

  • okay i get it now, makes sense...

  • is it possibleto have a quick weave that can be put in a high pony tail and also down in cute loose curls

  • Hmmm,

Good question. I've never had this requested of me but it is possible. I remember seeing a vid on a quickweave where the client was able to pull up & wear down; however, it didn't look very natural (pulled up). I will try to find it for you.

    HTH

  • ok thank you

  • what is being put on the hair to make it stick in place if its not glue?

  • You still use bonding glue to place your tracks. I named it the Glue-Free Quickweave because the product provides a barrier that keeps the glue from touching your hair.

  • How much should i expect to pay to have a quick weave installed?

  • This depends on your area, stylist, & the style. In a salon, expect to pay anywhere from $55-$100.

    HTH

  • Thanx!

  • i'm a hairstylist and i never heard of Glue Free Quick Weave!!! Thanx, you learn something new everyday.Nice Job with the finished product

  • Thanks babe, you should try it

Actually, the Glue-Free Quickweave is a Contagious Hairstyles signature method but it may be called by a different name in other areas.

  • how do i get this product i cant seem to find it online...is it in stores?

  • It's a salon product. You can only get it from your stylist, a distributor, or directly from the manfacturer.

  • this was a really cool video! i like to see new ways to wear weave.

  • Nice!

  • I know you said to go to the website to purchase this product. However, is this product sold in local beauty supply stores. and if so where can we purchses it?

  • This is a salon product and is currently not sold in the beauty supply stores. Sorry babe :(

  • With the product being water soluble, does sweating affect the bonding apllication(track slippage or bond weaking etc.)?

  • No. The product forms a barrier between your hair & the application therefore, sweat cannot penetrate through to the bond.

Also, sweat doesn't constitute as water soluble. It would have to be a constant flow of water pressure to your head (ie, shower) for the product to dissolve.

    Good question!

  • does anyone know where to find the glue free quick weave product?

  • gluefreeweavesdotcom

  • If I do a glue in on a cap weave and wash the hair weave a few weeks later will the tracks fall out I find a sew in takes so long to do.

  • Hey Korrisha,

The product is water soluble so when using it, I wouldn't shampoo your hair until you are ready to take it out.

  • i want to purchase the product do you offer any instructions with the purchase on how to apply it or do you apply it like any other molding product

  • Hello,

The directions are located on the bottle. If you need further help, you can always email us ;)

  • My hairstylist use the stocking cap method with my hair cornrolled underneath. I think having the hair conrolled is healthier for the instead of molding and it makes the weave last a little longer. Anyway can I use the Glue free product if i have my hair cornrolled underneath or my hair has to be molded???

  • The term "molding" mean a number of things in the cosmetology industry. Molded hair can be wrapped, gelled, cornrowed, ect. So yes your hair can be cornrowed of you prefer that type of mold.

  • The cut is nice but without scalp showing it looks like a wig to me.

  • Can there be oil on the hair before placing the product on?

  • With any new style you want to start with a clean mold, but if you prefer, you can oil your scalp, wrap, then place the product on and allow to dry.

  • beautiful.

  • Thanks ladies!

  • da glue protector is the best thing ever!!!!

  • Good news! The site will be back up mid next week so look out for that! Sorry for the delay in response, not only are we revamping the site, we have relocated and we are finally getting settled.

  • Thank you so much for all that info I have been on my PC all evening looking for this technique...you're an angel, now I can make my wig!!..lol

  • This was a very informative tutorial. Thanks :-)

  • Can this be used on natural hair?

  • I need this ,and the website is down.

Do you have any U.K suppliers?

Also what is the actual name of the product?

  • what happens wen ur scalp starts to itch and u cant get to it?

  • I'm guessing you just gotta "pat yo weave ladies. Pat, pat, pat yo weave ladies".

  • this is a great idea for a weave quuen like me love it danny girl when can i order

  • hey I sell the same product. Get in contact with me if you want to purchase the glue free quick weave. I can get it out to you buy the end of this week

  • I would like to purchase the product...do you have a website?

  • can you buy this at a beauty supply place? or just on the website?

  • where can i get the glue free product? the web site is not coming up? thanks for the info

  • So when is the site going to be back up? I would love to have some of this in my stash. Now that I know about the product, I will NEVER put glue directly on the hair ever again.

  • this looks great and easy. how long will it be before your site is back up for ordering. i had a quick question too, can you still use oil sprays or will that cause the product to melt ( you know how the black glue gets all gooey?)

  • wow...that was nice...quick question..i just did a sew in on my self, full head and i glued my closure on,but i have that cone head shape, wat can i do to flatten it or get rid of it?

  • you should have split the tracks on the top of your weave. From the eyebrow line on up.... They also recommend this in the video.

  • ooohhh next time i do a weave im gonna try this technique..thanks
