help me out if you know how to solve this problem! My printer prints really small and everything to one side of the page, so if i zoom the letters, i will be missing half of the words and half of the page is gonna be blank, why is it doing that
i heard that kodak are not good for printing photos i say that hp epson are the best and maybe canon the only thing about canon is that they dont know how to manage their ink
I have a Kodak ESP 5 and it works great! Had for over a year with no problems! I love the cheap ink. Probably printed close to 200 pictures on "Best" setting on 1 color cartriage. Cant beat that! Plus the pictures (all the way up to 8.5x11)looked as good or better than pics from Labs.(i.e. CVS,Walmart)
You should have used a 3rd party paper in both machines to give you an accurate comparison of straight up print quality because now you are adding in an extra variable. In a true scientific comparison of the two you would want to limit all variables as much as possible.
Also you would want to use up all the ink and see which one gives you the most prints per tank. I am a photographer and have used both Kodak and HP and found the quality to be very simmilar. I like the Kodak only because the ink is about 1/3 the cost. Perhaps this experiment would be better conducted by someone who knows how to do propper experiments and comparisons, not a 16 year old with too much time, too much money and not enough brains.
Thanks for a great honest video . I also really enjoyed the Whats Cheap usually turns out to be expensive , Quote . 5 stars and now I have to watch the rest of your videos . I hate to admit it but I also had a kodak printer , I couldn't even get mine to work . And I also made a kodak printer review .
Please try doing a scan and use the kodak paper box for a test , ( It has a lot of colors / and detail ) It will come out like shit , if it will come out at all . Also look at the blacks you will see lines it's called banding . And another thing the kodak logo will be the wrong color , it will be lighter . Go ahead and check for yourself . Or even better watch the official kodak printer review ... That I did .
You must work for HP. And would you please hold up the same pictures to compare for a little more than a milisecond. And so what the Kodak lags behind by one pic, it clearly states the HP prints slightly faster in the box.
Kodak Printer lagged more than a second, you don't want to know how much it lagged when we compared it to an Epson Printer *cough* 5 pocs behind *cough*
After speaking to Kodak about their print quality they told me that their paper wasnt the best and didn't give the best print quality but that I should use their more expensive paper instead of their Value Pack paper. But then the cost per print they advertise would sky rocket.
They are not comparing the cost of paper they are comparing the cost of ink you idiot. USE THE SAME PAPER IN BOTH MACHINES TO GET AN ACURATE QUALITY AND COST COMPARISON!!!
My budget didn't allow for me to buy all types of paper, however I was using the paper that both HP and Kodak claimed would save me the most money.
After speaking with Kodak, they told me that I needed to use their Premium paper for a better print which would drive the cost per print over 40 cents and nulify my inks avings a year.
Why do you put this video down ? I had a kodak and mine would not print shit . So yes I did save a lot of money on ink . the kodak printer wouldn't print anything , so no ink was used . I got a Canon Pixma MP480 and it actually prints photos and scans and copys . And No I don't work for Canon , I just like things that do what they say they will do .
I'm disappointed with my hp photosmart 6180c printer because of a couple things, 1. the auto cleaning is agnoring because when you when to print some thing on the fly, you can't you have to wait until it finishes. 2. any moisture on the paper the ink will smear or smudge. Luckily i have a xerox color laser printer for everything except for photos it doesn't do photos as well as a inkjet printer.
Don't buy a Canon printer-I've heard that if you have a problem they replace it with a USED printer. Dell does the same thing

I have the Kodak ESP7 and it is a very good printer all round. Very happy with print quality and functionality.
You see a lot of these kind of videos on YouTube a HP exec getting a nephew to do a 'real' review video and rubbishing the comparative rivals models.
Painfully unobjective!

In this video did you use a premium photo value pack or photo value pack for the Kodak printer?

They are comparing the cost per print. The cost per print involves both INK and Paper.

also an FYI the FCC has ruled that Kodak must adjust their ads. Now Kodak must say if you printer 4 pages per day etc.
