  • Omg the tempo of thier passing was so smooth...accurate passing..always moving.wow..

better than barca slow possession, pass back to goalkeeper...seriously..

  • Everty time I watch this I still feel like they're going to give the ball away any minute

  • Que lejos quedaron esos partidos , solo tenemos el recuerdo de una seleccion que jugaba de verdad, Pekerman era el indicado pero teniendo al hijo de re mil puta de Grondona en la A.F.Ano

nunca vamos a poder volver a esos tiempos. Sabella ? jajjaj que queres con Sabella una sola experiencia como DT, necesitamos sabiduria en el banco necesitamos a Bianchi la concha de sus madres

  • sorin was like puyol and argentina was like Barcelona :(

  • total footbal

  • QUE PEDASO DE DEMOSTRACION DE COMO SE JUEGA AL FOTBALL EXELENTE !!!!

  • he had hair??? :)

  • This how I play FIFA...patient buildup, dragging opposition players out of position and working your way up the pitch waiting for the killer ball to present itself.

That being said, I can't defend for shit on FIFA12

  • You dont get such beauty and elegance from American "football".

  • ESTO ES FOOTBALL, FÚTBOL, SOCCER O COMO MIERDA QUIERAN LLAMAR AL MAS HERMOSO DEPORTE DEL MUNDO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Argentina, brilliant at football, shit at wars #boom

  • This is a bit like watching Swansea.

  • Seriously .... WHO THE FUCK disliked this goal ??? This isn't American Football morons !!!!!!!

  • WELL !! Real Madrid have 42 passes goal ...and the best counter attack ever ..AND THE BOTH ARE IN THE SAME MATCH

  • SAGGY DOG TITS

  • tiki taka, before Guardiola's Barça..Now Pekerman is coaching Colombia...

  • @jaruca2007

    poor pekerman...lol

  • This should be shown to kids to teach them how football can be simple, but beautiful and effective.

By simple, I mean that every single player goes for the easiest, obvious pass, every time.

No 60 yard hopeful passes, no attempted trick that goes wrong, just probing away and biding their time, playing the simple pass and waiting.

You could argue that the litltle one-two feauturing riquelme isn't the simplest, but it is for him!! and you get my point.....

  • loved the backheel

  • Albie Celeste

  • J.P.SORIN ..................

  • if argentina played like that even 1/4 of the time they'd be world champions right now (especially with Messi)

  • there were only 24 passes!

  • Like chess :)

  • Riquelme and Cambiasso, at their prime. Sadly bad luck with them at that time.

  • 16 stoke city fans have watched this video :p

  • They would've won that year. Played such beautiful football in every match.

  • cambiasso had hair

  • TIKI-TAKA

  • It was a great goal, but Carlos Alberto's goal in the final match of Mexico 1970 was better. Brazil didn't need 25 passes to find the opposite goal - only 3-4. :-)

  • @Ramaz1969 c'mon this is much better, brazil's goal takes ages for every pass, pele could wait drink a coffee and then pass, italians seem like puppets. argentina's goal is faster with a full defense, with a back heel pass. . for the pace, movement and the definition this is better imho.do you play football? :) this is art

  • @sordijdezify IMO Mexico touches and passes with italy was amazing to set up a goal, the second goal they scored it was beautiful futbol by the Mexicans stfu I'm not even hating on Argentina....ha you clearly aren't a fan of futbol your probably a fan of "soccer"

  • Check out "Mexico having fun with Italy" good futbol

  • @hworkdedication Mexico? mexico doesn't compare to ARGENTINA..

  • Now that Messi is in the team this will never happen again LOOL

  • @cleany18 Why, some say Messi is the best in the world right now

  • @milLzz602 he is the best, he does things that nobody else do. and besides he wins championships

  • 2006 Argie Team best team to have never won the world cup, they should've won that year they were cleary the best team.

  • @12Aggiefan no chance.. brazil were huge..i mean huge favorites that year.. nobody had picked anyone other brazil... no expert anywhere.. i very distinctly remember that.. That brazil team was the best team to have not won..kaka and ronaldinho at the peak of their game..then you had ronaldo, juninho, gilberto, robinho, adriano....man... 2005 confed cup champs.. ahhh.. it was sad to see them lose against france.. zidane beat them single-handedly... what a player he was.

  • @ambuj1991 They actually never really impressed at any given point in the competition, you know. Unimpressive wins against Croatia and Australia, a lucky win against Ghana, and once they came up against a top class team they were shattered.

  • @Angarwaen yes, that is completely true. But before the tournament and the 4 years prior to that, they were the best team, and the favorites to win..they had the best players, were the best team, and were the outright 'favorites' to win.. and that is the point i was trying to make...one mroe thing i do remember is the game against japan.. they had like 20 odd shots and won 4-1.. that was domination..not great opposition but that was the real brazil, which sadly has not been seen since..

  • @ambuj1991 Yeah, I get your point. The Japan match was one of the last Brazil matches that was actually fun to watch. A year later they won the Copa América against a brilliant Argentina by featuring a totally un-Brazilian like team. I mean, they were actually fielding THREE defensive midfielders, two extremely physical centre-backs, two totally ungraceful forwards...And Julio Baptista as the n°10. Julio Baptista, ffs, the guy approaches football with the grace and beauty of a bowling ball.

  • @12Aggiefan Cruyff's Netherlands and Zico's Brazil.

  • That's soccer

  • its serbia, Jebem ti Mater

  • THAT is why Football is the greatest sport in the WORLD.

  • Wonderful play!

  • Cambiasso has HAIR!

  • Imagine how awkward it'd have been had he sliced it over.

  • The pass at 1:15 and 0:51 was perfection

  • The way the sport should be played!

  • argentina has to bring back riquelme to play like this .Riquelme is like xavi or iniesta but slower .

  • @eselalito And older =(

  • @eselalito he isn't SLOWER, he slows down the tempo of a game, taking his time to find the perfect killer through ball.

  • @eselalito but smarter.

    vamos roman

    saludos de argentina.

  • @eselalito no he isn't, riquelme is old, they don't need riquelme to play like this, argentina needs work in defense and miedield, pastore is good miedfielder.

  • @valientecrack

But his point is that Argentina needs more experienced players. Nothing against the young players, but you saw what happened at the Copa America. Look at the 2006 team. They freakin look like Spain out there when they pass it. And look at the adept level of communication! But you are right about the midfield. WTF happened to the midfield, it is just shit. We have Mascherano, Cambiasso, and Zanetti! They need to get it right!

  • @eselalito Riquelme is so underrated. he need to play more!

  • 16 people are mexicans.

  • @fixtureboring well, i don't understand...they are people or they are mexicans? :p

  • @repulsifik you really don't understand? that guy was talking about those 16 dislikes must be chosen by mexicans.

  • @szetotakwa it was a jocke....are they people or mexicans? shall we call them people? got it now?

  • @szetotakwa oh I see, I didn't notice you left a smile at the end of your sentence. Well, I would avoid to play "word game", no matter that guy's grammar or structure was right or wrong as long as we understand what he was talking about.

  • @szetotakwa because they hate argies and envy their football. poor mexicans...

  • great goal

  • If Vidic was there this would have never happened.

  • What a goal. That was the last time we had a real national footbal team. After the loss against Germany everything got fucked up.

  • ahh what a goal.comeon argentina...pull out of the bag..and bring back ur glory days..

  • all of you are stupid the dutch invented this type of football and johan cruyff brought it to barcelona and many other countries and clubs started copying this style.

  • da entire mexican line up disliked dis video :P

  • This isn't "Tiki-Taka", this is just ball passing. Tiki Taka makes run-passes up the field, while Argentina just passed the ball to dazzle the defense and keep them stationary then capitalize.

  • 16 people are mexican

  • This was the real Argentina unlike 2010 and CA2011.

  • the best team goal ever. the way each player actually keep moving into position.

  • Pep gwadiola must of been like hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.... Maybe when i manage a team i should do something simular to this...?

  • CAMBIASSO HAS HAIR

  • Quien dijo que el tiki-tiki lo invento el Barca?

  • @miguelb65

    Johan Cruyff 1988 ;)

  • qué golazo! fenomenal!

  • thats hebrew

  • why can't Argentina play like that now? Que passa?

  • @Sergio26aable

    No young Cambiasso ;]

  • @kisskisskiss121212 hahahhaa soo tru

  • @Sergio26aable Well, it looks like they heard you, because Argentina scored a 32-passes goal yesterday against Costa Rica.

  • @ShiningNow It isn't the same, if you check it out this Pekerman's team (he's a genious, our best coach ever) passes always looking to go forward, it isn't the same with yesterday's goal. That was a team resting which found an open space by chance. Not the same.

  • @DiegoXDer Hurr durr. Of course it's not the same.

  • @ShiningNow LOL sorry I just try to enjoy the football our team once offered

  • @ShiningNow ahhaahhaha i kno i saw that and was like shit VAMOS ARGENTINA ahhahaha

  • The 11 dislikes are the 11 Serbian players

  • top ten best goals in the history of world cup

  • it was 24 passes...

  • @aksil277201 i counted 26

  • That was ART

  • @oOliio they play like barca? This was in 2006 when barca depended on dinho, Argentina has always had this style ,

  • Now argentina is trying to go back to this stllyle that thy always had and some are saying "there copying barca" haha stupid fools

  • Football at its best

  • Argentina is better than Brazil

  • @MadisonFC6 nooot

  • That was a ridiculous game. Passing 24 times before scoring is just amazing. Argentina-Brazil

  • this is the best 2006 World cup goal from Argentina. . .its looks like a pin ball the way it pass to another player. . .

  • 9 of them are brazilians

  • @TheShadowMadness I personally don't. I'm Argentine but I have to admit Serbia aswell as Jugoslavia has always produced great players and great results. This was a one off, Argentina just played out of this world in this game, the funny thing is, Serbia didn't play too bad. I remember at 3 - 0 there was a moment where they slowly crept back into this game, but the sending off killed off all hope. I remember thinking before a ball weas kicked that this would be Argentina's toughest game.

  • @yakamon123 yugoslavia isn't the same as serbia. other countries were part of yugoslavia too

  • @bronkoghma Yeah I already knew that so what's your point? I did say Serbia AS WELL AS Jugoslavia didn't I? I believe I was clear enough when I made this distinction. All the former Juoslav nations have always produced quality players.

  • hebrew rules עברית שולטת XD

  • soccer= sucker:P

  • That's a very nice goal ! They play like barca :D

  • watch scholes vs panathinaikos

  • che que idioma habla?

  • From 0:48 onwards is just the stuff of dreams...

  • This is Art.

  • This is why futbol is beautiful to me. For the record in MY OPINION Argentina is number one because of there style of touch

  • Respect

  • While Argentina was passing backwards and sideways, I think Germany scored about 5 couterattack goals.

  • @TheSchubert21 You must be an Englishman! :D

  • Soberbio gol.

Que cantidad de pelo que tenia cambiasso.

  • @dethtiger jajá!

  • e.p.i.c

  • I remember this. This is just too sick for words. This should be required viewing for kids learning how to play the game

  • What a shit crowd, looks like old trafford.

  • que golazo

  • just came in my pants watching this

  • un gol perfecto no le pidamos a cambiaso que la ponga al lado del palo , pero es un GOL PERFECTO

  • @CIDMJEsquivel AJAJAJAJAJ

  • Perfect!!!

  • The best football in the world = ARGENTINA !!

  • @tataso really? they're not even the best in south america. what about brazil, spain, england, germany, holland, italy, portugal, italy, france, etc...they're somewhere in there definitely, but not the best in the world.

  • @Sarcasm651

    Argentina 34 - Brasil 33

    Argentina 9 - Alemania 6

    Argentina 6 - Francia 2

    Argentina 6 - España 5

    ARGENTINA rules !!

  • @tataso i don't understand these numbers, what do they represent? they may have messi, but one player doesn't make a team.

  • @Sarcasm651 Esos numeros representan el historial de enfrentamientos entre Argentina y las demas selecciones !!

  • @tataso this doesn't really help, i can't read argentinian writing. i'm guessing it's the amount of times they have beaten each other. i just researched one you didn't (obviously too afraid to admit the answer):

    Argentina 3 - England 6

so, they ain't the best, england must be. :)

  • @Sarcasm651 jajaja Ingland ?? Inglaterra la única copa (1966) que gano la robo con un gol inexistente !! Y me hablas de Inglaterra ?? jajajaja

  • @tataso we're still where we began. goodbye.

  • Arg. is Top 3 FIFA ranking (since 1993) overall;Portugal overall ranking is 12 and Spain 4.

Spain is today's champion and (altough Hungary's run's debatable) recently had the longest undefeated run in history but outside the 2010 WC in South Africa Spain's major achievement in World Cups was a Fourth Place in 1950

The overall IFFHS rank since 1970s of those you mentioned minus Spain/Portugal goes as follows:

    1stBrazil, 2ndGermany, 3rd Italy, 4thArgentina, 5thFrance, 6thEngland, 7thHolland.

  • @BurnRoddy did i ask? ;)

  • Did you?

  • @BurnRoddy that's what i'm asking you.

  • @BurnRoddy i don't agree with the FIFA rank, just can say the best team of all football history is an Argentina team called "la maquina" Greetings!

  • Argentina Argentina Argentina Argentina Argentina Argentina Argentina Argentina Argentina Argentina Argentina

  • @RCJxx, and we do, because landon donovan is awesome

  • @RCJxx, you know what i have to say to that? IT'S NOT WANKER, IT'S DICK! GET OVER IT!

  • It's funny how young players today think that scoring a goal is all about doing fancy dancy tricks and going all "hero of the day" solo runs to the goal only to be humiliated by a defender. This is a perfect example of what football REALLY is and that's teamwork. I'm not a fan of Argentina, far from it, but this is teamwork at it's very best! simple little passes and it ends in a goal. And please, show me where they used fancy little tricks? Almost no where. No nonsense passing.

  • @AeonXero couldnt agree more :D

  • ahh back when cambiasso had hair!

  • what if he missed

  • @4PacHooptiRida probably would not be as popular since they didn't do this against a great team

  • 7 people are Serbian

  • @poulsonnn No, Serbians have no problem. The now 9 people are Mexican.

  • @Jeffff23 racist bastard

  • @poulsonnn im guessing there are more than 7 people who are serbian in the world.......

  • Comment removed

  • England could take a lesson in patience from this....and i'm english

  • @smithhedgehog Couldn't agree more. I don't understand why more teams don't take a leaf out of Argentina's, Brazil's or Barca's book. It's how it should be played.

  • holly shit now thats what u call football

  • im from argentina

  • i have a boner

  • 25 passes here your jument

  • only 24 passes there, just thought you should know

  • its funny how this was dubbed one of the greatest goals of all time when barcelona do this week in week out

  • @bistoclonduff .against teams like who?man unt?no.chelsea?no.ac milan?no.inter milan?no.bayer munich?no. lol doing it against rubbsih teams like most of la liga is hardly special.

  • @987costa they seemed to do it against liverpool a few years ago. and even then that wasnt barcelona at their best

  • @schennsational88 Yeah it's as pathetic as your grammar. WTF is "boringest"? Wow you are a true fucktard.

  • This goal reminds me why soccer is the boringest sport to watch

  • @schennsational88 Yet it's the most popular, by far, combine all the american sports fans, and times that by 6.

  • @schennsational88 .lol boringest? what do you watch thats so amazing?lol.idiot.
