  • thankyou.

  • Can anyone tell me if the death photos are reconsructions. I think that they are in the photos Mr Bordens shoes are on and there is no blood slatter.

  • @65bristolboy The photos aren't reconstructions. They are the real thing. The thing that makes this case very interesting is that someone cleaned up the blood splatter. There was only three bloody basins and rags but due to having no DNA technology as we have now, they couldn't pin point. There is a WHOLE lot that is not being told of this case in the vid. Some believe that it might have been the older sisters idea and Lizzie and her uncle did the killings and the maid cleaning the blood.

  • Clew???????? Anyway, if Lizzie didn't do it then it MUST'VE been a SUICIDE!!! pmsl!!!! 

  • It's funny that for all the things you hear about the murder nobody ever mentions the brother-in-law.

  • OH MY GOSH i was thinking the same exact thing she said she"took his shoes off but they were still on"and wouldnt it make sense to do it on a day when most police were doing that parade thing they mentioned and this is my theory she killed her step mom went to the barn changed went about then killed her father ....thumbs up if you agree with my theory or reply why you think she did or didnt do it thanks =)

  • Hmmm

This is a mystery. It was commented by somebody for sure but Lizzie helped her father remove his shoes. BUT, in his death photo, his shoes are on. Can anybody help with this mystery?

  • Lizzie committed this crime no doubt!

  • "When Mr. Borden came home, Lizzie helped him take off his shoes." Why does death photo show him with his shoes on?

  • brother in law moors did it

  • @player3172 Obviously you were there at the time. Did you take any photos on you iPhone?

  • lesbian rage? omg..

  • @imlisteningify It's possible that Lizzie was a Lezzo.

  • @FifthContinentMusic Yeah, and she might have had a fetish for midgets in bloomers, but I don't think it has anything to do with the murder.

  • The wacko comments concerning this case.smh

  • i think the real issue here is parents not putting children first. Married or not, doesn't matter. I had parents similar making decisions for their interests only thus expecting others to just follow along. It's not easy. Every child deserves a happy childhood not one with resentment. When things don't get discussed, violence occurs. Parents need to be held accountable if their decisions are hurting the family. 2 bad DCFS didn't interrupt, maybe a different outcome would have happened.

  • @RicMaster3000 Still doesn't give someone the right to murder their parents. And I highly doubt they had DCFS back then. Not putting your children first is hard, but its not the worst thing that can happen to you, and it CERTAINLY does not warrant murder.

  • @brownie8757 thanx 4 your comment, it's appreciated!

  • Lesbian rage!

  • Ghosts are real!!!

Also GHOST ADVENTURES IS GOIN THERE!!!!!

  • @harrypotter4ever2000 They already did, its on youtube search up "full eisode of Ghost Adventures Lizzie Borden." it'll pop up, i just watched it last night:)

  • If she (Lizzie Borden) killed her parents it may have something to do with when she told the police that "She is not my REAL mother she is my stepmother. My real mother died when I was a child."

  • Its strange why would you stay in a place knowing people there dont like you? all that money you could go anywhere!

  • how do we know who did it though we didnt have the technology we do today so who knows who killed her parents i couldnt have been lizzie's sister emma either A.the maid or B. Lizzie but in one article i read she said she was in the barn getting led and when she came in she heard a screach and she put her hat on the table and found her dad dead

  • @lordanne6 i don't mean to be rude but you spelled lead wrong sorry i'm a nerd

  • @hande2228 whopps sorry eric i forgot to log out again....lol

  • @hande2228 i kno im kinda in the middle of spelling i meant lead. thank u for correcting me

  • @hande2228 Interesting that you noticed the missing letter but not the lack of punctuation or capitalization.

  • @lordanne6 How do we know Lizzie did it? Mountains upon mountains of circumstantial evidence. For example, it was determined that the murders occurred at least an hour apart, which means that the killer, after murdering Abby, either left the house and came back or stayed in the house for over an hour.

Lizzie's incredibly incriminating behavior doesn't help either. Like trying to buy poison the day before, and destroying her clothes the day after.

  • she was also laughing.........after lizzie killed them.the maid heard her, some say her spirit in the house, u could hear her laughing still....

  • @abductedbyaliens8892 ghosts aren't real, get it through ur heads people

  • @NewEnglandboy453 they are real and there is so much evidence they are real, so stop denying it

  • @XxMsblacklightingXx i posted that before my dad told me they were real, ok, so i' not denying it, that post is like 4 months old

  • she did it...she was sexually abused by her father, she tried to kill them before, by poison...shes guilty, and got away with it..

  • I have read that Lizzie burned the dress because she got menstrual blood on it. I've also read that she quite possibly have committed the murders in the nude, then bathed to remove all the blood. I believe she is guilty, & in a movie I once watched, it portrayed her Father as a very cruel, domineering man, who ran a tight ship. He always took Abby's side over his own daughters, making Lizzie very rebellious, but also killing for the money. I guess no-one will ever know all the facts...

  • I disagree with Betty Mitchell's comment that everyone, at some point wishes their parent(s) dead & wants to kill them. I've honestly never had thoughts like that. In fact, 20 years after my Dad's passing, I still miss him terribly, & my Mum, who is now 84 & in poor health, I dread the day she dies. I cannot imagine my life without my beloved Mother! I could never even entertain the idea of taking my Mum's life. She means the world to me!!!

  • My bf is an ancestor of Lizzy this scares me lol HONESTLY NO KIDDING he is a direct ancestor WOW!!!!!!

  • @ctstanley wow lol if you see him with an ax uhh just run XD

  • Makes you wonder though if there had been women on the jury, how different would it have been?

  • @TheBookWorm1718 it sure would have. back then white males thought they knew everything.

  • If you pause it just right at around 4:02 you can get a great look at Andrew's face!

  • 4:03 andrew borden's ghost on the far right?

  • @ihateteddddyx

Actually it's not. Andrew Borden had white hair trimmed beard not a mustache. It's good old fashion lens glare.

  • @Jadama0 Back then you had to stand still for photographs or they would be screwed up.

  • @ihateteddddyx LOL, no, it's just the Policeman walking into the shot at a bad time, so he's all smudged.

  • When she died she left the remains of her substantial wealth to The Animal Rescue League. Though I have no idea if she was guilty or not, that one act alone doesn't ring true of a cold-blooded psychopath.

  • lizzie's story didnt add up, she kept changing her story saying, she was ironing in the kitchen, then she said she was reading upstairs, then she was in the barn. there was no evidence to convict her, so she got off, but her story didnt add up, and i think she was guilty.

  • @leedumett444 I find it odd if she was innocent she would say 'I am ready to go now', meaning going to the jail?

  • LIZZIE WAS A LESBIAN, SO SHE WOULD NOT HAVE TAKEN, ANY OF THE MEN IN THE NEIGHBOURHOOD.

  • @leedumett444 how did you know that i don't think she was lesbian

  • Comment removed

  • Although Lizzie did not like her step-mother, I find it interesting that she called for Bridget's assistance (the hired help of only 2 1/2 years) after finding her father's dead body instead of Abby's. Sure Lizzie hated Abby but she was still her father's wife of nearly 30 years. Lizzie claimed shortly after her grisly discovery that she was sure that she had heard Abby return home. Why would Lizzie not inquire of her step-mother's whereabouts unless she already knew exactly where she was?

  • LIZZIE DID IT, ITS SO OBVIOUS. SHE WAS IN A RAGE.

  • I think it was Lizzie because of the overkill of the crime.I cannot imagine striking someone w/ an ax 19 times to simply kill them.As it was established she hated her father and stepmother, I think she had been imagining and planning the crime, then one day just snapped perhaps because of some argument the 3 might have had that morning.

  • @tet43 Actually, she and her father were allegedly very close. It was her stepmother that she hated.

  • @PrincessSerena1121 Actually, in the documentaries and movies I've seen, I do not find that to be true. She is portrayed as a vain and self-serving yound woman, concerned with appearances, who felt contempt for her father's controlling and overly frugal behavior.Given that she was a female in her 30's, (at that time)without any prospects of leaving such a repressive existence I can see her taking matters into her own hands to get the money and freedom she wanted, in the only way she felt she could

  • @PrincessSerena1121 I've heard that Lizzie and her father were "close". To 'close' in fact, that it was incestuous.

  • also people please find and download the trial transcripts of this case, it consists of 2 PDF files, its amazing, it says that on the fateful day Dr Dolan found some paper on MR bordens body but destroyed it in the kitchen stove!!! WTF.

  • i think it was the estranged son of mr borden and lizzie was in-cohoots with him, i mean it would be easy for lizzie to hide him in the house etc..:)...

  • @crazyknight2008 But what proof do we have, other than rumor, that Mr. Borden had a illegitimate son?

  • It could be John Morse who killed Andrew and Abbie Borden

  • I think it was the maid or the butler.

  • @iAsian92 They didn't have a butler, just a maid.

  • Thank you for posting this...and all the other, great stuff you post up on this site.

  • Thanks for this video. I'm inclined to believe most of the theories put forth by Victoria Lincoln in her book " Lizzie Borden" A Private Disgrace".

  • The police did a thorough search of Lizzie's closet, however, and found only 1 dress with a blood stain (on the outside of the skirt area, around the back) - with the mere idea that it was from her "menstrual" (even thought it was indeed on the wrong side of the skirt, if that was so).

Emma attested that the dress she'd burned was indeed a dress stained with paint, which happened about 2 weeks after it was made!
