It kinda does sound like im saying Dm but its deffo meant to be Bm, hell im not even sure what i said ha ha!! Yeah there are one or two extra bits you can add to this but it was just meant to be a simple vid to help people learn the basic chords :))
I think you misspoke at 1:16. It should be Bm (which is what you're playing) but it sounds like you are saying Dm. Also, the Gm that follows sounds good with a 6th.
Also, during the bridge when you play Bm, the E that follows sounds good with an open E7.
If it was clear than there wouldn't be any confusion. I could tell by the chord position it was Bm, but my son, 14, who is just learning was playing a Dm there because he mis-heard it. I listened and said, your;e right, it does sound a little like he says Dm, but that chord doesn't work there.

I only agreed with my son that the spoken part (said with a heavy accent for those of us who live thousands of miles away) could have sounded like Dm, but was in fact Bm.

I think maybe in the chorus it goes: Bm Gm Bm Gm6 ... etc. The Gm6 gives it a better lift there. No?
