  • Thank you for the lesson of one of my favorite Beatles songs.

  • cool cover and guitar lesson

  • Not my favorite, but surely in my Top 10

  • l like the opening.

  • It don't sound nothin like he's sayin 'Dm', He's defo sayin 'Bm', The vid is there to see anyway, anyone can tell hes playing a Bm anyway... watch the video fools.

Well done daxman, well good upload, Prob my fav Beatles song aswell, and this helped alot, thanx

  • It kinda does sound like im saying Dm but its deffo meant to be Bm, hell im not even sure what i said ha ha!! Yeah there are one or two extra bits you can add to this but it was just meant to be a simple vid to help people learn the basic chords :))

  • I think you misspoke at 1:16. It should be Bm (which is what you're playing) but it sounds like you are saying Dm. Also, the Gm that follows sounds good with a 6th.

Also, during the bridge when you play Bm, the E that follows sounds good with an open E7.

Just a suggestion mate, sounds good!

  • @Ribzypunk he clearly says Bm..

  • @MrHopeTelevision " ...clearly says Bm" ?

If it was clear than there wouldn't be any confusion. I could tell by the chord position it was Bm, but my son, 14, who is just learning was playing a Dm there because he mis-heard it. I listened and said, your;e right, it does sound a little like he says Dm, but that chord doesn't work there.

    He nails it now....

  • @Ribzypunk there is no confusion on my part.

  • @MrHopeTelevision You should be very proud you accessed a simple lesson were not confused.

I only agreed with my son that the spoken part (said with a heavy accent for those of us who live thousands of miles away) could have sounded like Dm, but was in fact Bm.

Not sure why you keep replying, but glad you're not confused!

  • @Ribzypunk im not sure why you keep replying either. you said he misspoke when he had not misspoke.

  • @Ribzypunk

    you win, now I'm confused.

I could have sworn I wrote "I think.." and "sounds like" not "you did say." I then went on to make other suggestions using variations that have worked for me for years.

It was not so clear to my son, but suspect continuing on with you will make me appear to be the 14 year old instead of a musician sharing knowledge, so "now the moon turns out it's light, good night, sleep tight"

  • Thanks to show people how to play this wondeful song.

    Best Regards

  • Nice work, great lesson. "Help!" is the most underrated album known to man...

  • I think maybe in the chorus it goes: Bm Gm Bm Gm6 ... etc. The Gm6 gives it a better lift there. No?

  • Wonderful! awesome song from an awesome band :D

  • good job mate such simplicity but very much genious the greatest band ever was.

  • great job...Just goes to show you how ez and effective the guitar parts could be at times.

  • Thanks all, Im no longer on Daxman account as it got locked. This is my new one! :)

  • Excellent! Thank you!

  • Great job. Can't wait to learn it ! More !

  • Cheers, go 4 it! Wicked song!

  • U NAILED it...NICE JOb...VERRRRY COOL!!! Now I know another Beatles song our band can play. THX, :) J.
