@adambailey45 The cummins has a stainless dump stakebody with an auger in the bed for salt, the powerstroke has a wood stake with a liftgate. Theres not that big of a weight difference. The powerstroke went across the scales at 8700# empty. The cummins is now in an 03 f250 running 50psi and the powerstroke has been sold.
@billisdone Weight. If it was DRW vs. SRW the single would have one, was they are more efficient at transmitting power to the ground with the same amount of weight as duallies.
My brothers H/O cummins will put any powerchoke down. 35" Nitto mud grapplers. and with 380,000 miles on 2 cummins in our family, I have to say, DAMN. Although that barle scratches the surface.

i have owned all of the versions of a ford diesel except a 6.0 and a 6.4 but have friends that own them, i have also owned a 2wd and 4x4 cummins and the cummins will out pull the powerstroke all day long and also get up the next morning and ask to do it again, this comparison is definitely unfair due to the fact that the ford is a dually and the dodge is not, but it was just in fun so it don't matter, but at least you have the right idea, get rid of a ford V10 for a cummins!!!!!!

@HATERADExrs800 you said your truck is a 03! and i said 05 and older are slow as shit. 05 or 06 i believe is when dodge put a bigger turbo on their truck's for more power. my dad had a 03 dodge slow as hell and couldnt move for shit. my 7.3 has a turbo upgrade still smaller then my dads 09 dodge i still out tow him, im faster. but it also help's that my truck doesnt have the rolling resistance as my dad's truck does. i also raced my dads 03 bbefore i put my turbo on. his 03 was really slow
@1962Galaxie514ciMPFI my truck is an 03, never said it was anything else. im sorry but you really are proving to be a fanboy of the 'ol 7.3. stock your truck has 210hp/425 torque. an 03 has 305hp/555 torque and a reg cab 95 f250/350 weigh almost 1k pounds more than my 03. even a inbreed weener driver like you knows whats gonna happen. yes the 7.3 is a great towing motor but stock for stock you would never out tow your dads 09 dually cummins. stop being an immature fanboy!!!!!!
The 7.3's staying in the stakebody shes the beater truck... The cummins however will be going into an 03+ ford body yet to be acquired. We will most likely pull the v10 or 6liter out of a ford chassis and sell it... hmm second thought, I would love to do a v10 rat rod...
