I am also assistant section leader of the Horny Horns (Trombone Section). Moreover, SU is known for over blowing, they've been doin it for years, they're professionals. Im not ignorant, they have their own style of making music. everyone cant be like famu, bcu, nsu, or even predominatly white colleges. They emphasize INTENSITY. do you agree?

@KristianRuffin Hell i agree. I was in the Marching 100. These niggas put some wind through those horns. May not be the characteristic song that can be produced but that intensity is a great wow factor. Honestly people like to hear it! I have a musically train ear that doesnt agree with the SWAC but i have always0 loved the SWAC. Hell id be at TxSU or J-State if FAMU didnt cut that paper at me and was the best place for my major.

You can hear the trumpets throughout the entire song. It's not even a struggle to try to hear them, they're pretty clear. Not really sure what they're giving those Baritone players down at SU.. but they're absolute monsters. SU wouldn't be SU without that portion of the song where they just get to unleash. I for one hope SU never changes that.
