1. INVASION IN AFGHANISTAN - Reason: The Taliban defied the USA by continuing to shelter Osama Bin Ladin (the mastermind and sponsor of the 9/11 attacks).

2.INVASION IN IRAQ - Reason: Oil, military and rebuilding contracts and a president who put his personal gain over international law. Also anyone arguing that Iraq wasn't an ugly place before the invasion is ignoring the facts.

@Marksd99, My memory is not weak...I remember that when the Taliban asked the US GOVT. for proofs of their involvement in 9/11, they US denied giving them any pathetic proof and attacked on their land. Secondly, 9/11 was an inside job and it has been proved by many video documentaries. There's no need to think hard on that. The reason of Iraq invasion u told is acceptable though.

The only countries that are booming are secular, fairly democratic, free/mix-economies that are not on any sort of crusade.
