What I'm seeing is if i focus on any single edge it has, I see that it is rotating in a cycle, not actually changing. If I view each of these edges as themself and not as the 4 dimensional object in a whole, I see a rotation, sort of like the wheel on a bicycle.
if a 4d object can cast a 3d shadow, much like a 3d object's 2d shadow, is it possible for a 3d surface to exist in a 4d universe in the was 2d ones exist in ours?
then there could be 3d "drawings" with set boundaries
@SecondEricSanderson It doesn't exist in time -- you have to read up on this, because I can't explain it right, but time is a separate dimension on its own, it's not considered a Euclidean dimension or something like that.
to those who are confused, draw a cube on a piece of paper.just draw 2 squares at an angle and connect the lines. you see a square in the middle. if you took a transparent cube and rotated it, the 2 dimensional shadow and the square you see within it will warp like this. the square you see within the cube doesn't exist, it only looks like it does because of the shadow.the cube you see in the middle of this tesseract does not exist, it only looks like it does because this is the shadow.
OH MY GOD IT'S MOVING!

@FluffyBunniesOnFire I was saying time is not Euclidean. This tesseract is Euclidean.

@powerslide838 thats because we are inferior on brain capacity to them. 2d beings only have 1 eye!

it's a shadow of a 4d object in 3rd dimention just like one of a cube in 2 dimention (like when you draw a cube on paper)

This is just a shadow :( When can we imagine real 4D?
SWFlash0 1 year ago
@SWFlash0 Only way to "see" a 4D shape is by viewing it's 3D shadow. We are 3D beasts so cannot "see" real 4D.

Intriguing. It looks like it's moving, but it's not.
