@minibikerrider1 thats normally true but the normal carbs dont have the lawn mower engines run at their peak performance if you get a dellorto carb itll have better air flow and a more refined fuel to air mixture.

I owned the Rupp L-100cc 5 speed dirt bike back in 1973 and I raced a Blackwidow my buddy owned. That damn blackwidow beat my 100cc Rupp by 5 MPH top end speed, full throttles for a solid 2 miles. Mine 55 mph, Blackwidow 60 MPH. But I could tear him up on all trails, hill climbing and Evel Knievel jumping big time. But I still wanted a Blackwidow.

hmm, were did i get those parts? ahh, i got them from some rupp site. just type in rupp blackwidow parts or just rupp parts or sumthing, but rupp parts arnt cheap, my belt cost i think $25

only if you have the orginal title and have all the serial numbers for the rupp. it also has to have lights. if you want find out for your state, check out your dmv for your state for more info

the bike looks good. install a T/C cover before you rip your ankle apart on that driver! Brandt has an excellent cover that looks just like the original. ...don't forget the decals!

Brandt got an awesom cover, i got one, just that my pully flew off at full speed, so i put i new nut on since the last one got lost, so i just wanted to make sure it doesnt come off, its so i can check on the bolt. so far so good. thanks for the comment!

i have a purple 71 rupp roadster 2. i got it out of my dads uncles barn some kids got a hold of it in the mid 70s and took it for a 'joyride' through the breyers and it got left in woods for 2 yrs and then my dads uncle found it in the woods and layed it in barn for 30 yrs he also offered us a snowmobile, a 74 skii doo but it never snows anymore.
