What I hate about this documentary is that it gives us Gamers as a whole a bad name. Take it from me- Gaming is more than often not an addiction, it is a symptom. How you ask? For me it was depression. I was going through a rough spot, I used the games to fill my time, I played them more and more and more. I was playing 8-12 hrs per day. I got help for my depression, the gaming time went down 1/3. Im still in therapy for clinical depression, and though I still game im not using it as an escape anymore. Maybe some of these people have problems as well, and use it for escape?

Hell video games have been a HUGE part of my life, that's coming from someone (not bragging) who graduated high school with the highest honors. I don't have any vices whatsoever.
Also if you have read the book "The kids are alright" it was made by people who are not gamers but has seen and praised the impact of gaming to our generation and how it has build up new kinds of managers. And they show data to support it, not just theories.

@BossMan4714 wow, 3 responses to one comment in the course of 1 hour, the gaming community is pretty defensive, or is permenantly sat infront of a computer screen. I clearly don't care about this as much as you lot, but from my experience of the WOW loving crowd I know, spending 3/4 of your time awake, not sleeping, eating or socialising, and instead playin a game, pretty worrying to be honest. and they don't have underlying problems, addictive personalitites and are/were normal.

Second problem: Most modern games are very social especially games on programs like steam, or valve. Third: Most gamers have social lives and actually play in their spare time. Yes, his channel is game-focused, but who the hell has a channel that incorporates ALL their interests in the same amounts as they do in real life, except daily vloggers? He's chosen to focus on one topic which is most interesting for him to talk about & that others want to watch.

@gamingrocks100 For future reference, his name is Mike Pollock. As for your question, a friend of mine put me in touch with him. I have his number. I spoke to him for a bit, then I asked him if he fancied doing some voice work for me. He liked the idea of it, so he did it for free. I didn't want to trouble him, so I only got him to do an introductory message, although he said he'd do more if I needed it.

Second, where is he giving false information? If he gets things wrong then that's not a huge issue since it isn't a regular occurence, and there was ONE time he was biased and he freely admitted to it.
