@KenjutsuMaster576 He uses the gun to shoot a light. And in that situation, a gun was pretty much the only thing he could use to reach it, so it made sense in context. Which somehow makes the usage of that scene in the trailer even more groan-inducing.

The eleventh Doctor is awesome. So brilliantly bonkers and sometimes a little direct or harsh, but not in a bad way, more in an unprocessed-raw-genius-way.

Oh, and the Doctor is back to threatening people with sweet stuff. Forget bananas, satsumas and jellybabies... He's reaally hit the jackpot in one of the recent episodes... Don't worry, I won't spoil which one^^

moffat said that this doctor loves time travel. So i'm hoping there will be a lot of time travel episodes. Those are my favourites! Not really fond of the episodes where they're on a space ship, they're stuck, they''ve lost the tardis blabla.

Can't wait to see the new series! I'm going to miss tennant as the doctor but this looks pretty promising too :D

hmm ... but even if it was. Remember, he is the same guy with the same memories etc so him sometimes saying the same lines is, me thinks, not so unusual. I believe the Moff to be good enough a writer to only reuse material if there is a reason for it ;)
