Apart from a very good adventure, also a very romantic movie! The music of Ennio Morricone is magnificent! Most recommended!!

Sth else now. I'm searching the internet for the original version of the movie and I always fall on dual versions, spanish, italian etc. I find this is awful!! I mean it is ridiculous to listen to Michael York speaking in any other language than his own. You must protest in your countries against this practice! Demand to watch the original versions with subtitles!!!

I've already dealt with it, thank' s to a dvd club in my neighborhood.

Actually it's a co-production of Italy, France, Spain, Germany and the USA. But I consider it Italian myself.

Anyway, don't take personal what I said about the dual versions. I didn't mean anything bad for your language. I truly like Italian! (Spanish too..) I would certainly say the same thing if Michael York spoke Greek.

If anyone goes for the soundtrack, try to get the expanded version, for example at intermezzomedia. This title piece is only one aspect of a fabulous score by the incredible Ennio Morricone. Another cracker is the Double-CD of 'Marco Polo'.

No other composer anywhere, anytime has done so much to elevate the standard of music that enters people's homes through the medium of television. Apart from writing his own music and giving his concerts worldwide Morricone scores now largely for Italian TV.

I've only been able to find one DVD through ANY on-line store, since this move wasn't made in the US and now is impossible to find even on tape. Although I had to pass because they wanted nearly $100 bucks for it =( I guess I can wait until they release it here on DVD.
