Let me tell you from personal experience i had the honor of training and sparring with this man the time was around 1985 0r 1986 i believe and the place Matty Melisi's shotokan karate in bridgeport ct and andre used to train with my instructor Matty and visit during promotions and i had the opportunity to spar with him, during promotion i bilieve at the time it was for my purple belt and he was just as amazing at that time as he is in these videos somethiong i will cherish forever!!!! Osu!!!!
