Had the extremely good fortune to see this concert 'Live' at the Glasgow Apollo(at least i'm sure it was). Also saw them at the Edinburgh Playhouse and Usher-Hall.Anyway,thanks for posting.
yep some of the album does belong to the KEEP, I just wish whoever is in charge of the record label would use some common sense and release a soundtrack from THE KEEP
Great video, great music. I was fortunate enough to see them live at UCLA November 7 2008, but of course, nothing like the early days. Edgar Froese still playing good. Hope more shows somewhere around.
@kikehippo Then you've got an EXCELLENT taste in music!! The early 70s and 80s productions of this group, manage to move me far more than the Electronic Music of the subsequent decades! If today's music sounded as 'current' as THIS, I might actually start listening to it...
@YutubeFavorites 70s and 80s are definitely better than music of today. Often, people write here on youtube - "there were ahead of their time". I think their time was ahead of our time today. It's not completely true that there is no good music nowadays. But, good music is not mainstream music today. Today, corporation influence and dictatorship is clearly visible, and also, due to technology improvement, not talented musicians are able to perform, unlike 70s and 80s :). My opinion only :)
Hey, The Keep is Michael Mann's movie? Is about a fortress kept y a force and that german soldiers want to get? Please, answer me and tell me if you know is available on dvd. Thanks
Yes, timeless, and for those who likes like me vinyl records, the sound of this record in vinyl is lovable. Something cd cannot reach. Probably is either nostalgia or really bits 0 and 1 cannot reach !
Its my favourite too - I listen to this part in the car all the time, and its unbelievable this was done by wireing up and hand programming those early moogs nearly 30 years ago - TD music is eternally timeless. They are amongst those early pioneers that paved the way for some of the great music genres we have today thank you thank you thank you!
A friend and I used to watch TV on mute while listening to music (usually having "enhanced" our experience somewhat), and we were often amazed at how well the video would sync up with the music purely by accident.
The Discovery Channel is always a good choice for that sort of thing, as are the Military Channel and Cartoon Network.
great! but damn, you just fade out before the climax, when the beat kicks in again ;)

along with seconds out by genesis and exit stage left by rush, this has to be the best live album of all time,or is that just me.
DEEP!!!!!!!!!!!

Totally agree with Seconds Out by the way. Maybe doesn't hit the heights production-wise,but try T.Dream Encore. Cherokee Lane is superb.

so what kind of experience were you attempting to enhance?
NEODarmus 2 years ago
He said he enhanced the experience of watching TV with music.
You'd have to ask HilbertSpace what exactly he used for the "enhancement" part. LOL
