@TableWolfMusic I think the increase in single motherhood has more to do with the mixed signals we're sending our youth. There is more acceptance of sexuality in recent years, as there should be. However, sexual education doesn't seem to be keeping up. I think there's too much focus on abstinence, causing many young people to grow up uninformed. They have unprotected sex, a child results, and some men leave.

I really don't see what this has to do with women's sex drive.

Women often have children when they don't want to. They can be pressured by partners, parents, religious leaders, or society in general. Improper use of contraception can cause it to be ineffective, the stigma surrounding abortion causes some women to not wish to do that. Some have the child because of lack of choice.
