I have a 62 myself, becuase it's a limited edtion S-22 i want to keep it stock, but if i had a regular model, there's lots of aftermarket, you can even convert them over to mid 70s mustang II suspension with rack and pinion steering.
Thanks for this vid. You helped make up my mind and I bought the a 62 comet w/289. And that body roll is some good stuff. lol. Not like the suspension on my rock hard 74 beetle.
Overall about 70% I'd say. I did crack the welds on one of the front hubs on this run on the last sharp corner, but that was because it was a defective aftermarket unit.
A lot of the '65 mustang suspension stuff will work on these, which can improve the handling a lot.
thats Kool! I just bought a 62 comet coupe and im installing a 99 Cobra drive train in it.

Nice, I'm looking at a comet for myself right now. How close to the limit of the car would you say it was being pushed. Nice vid!
