  • OMG!! making glass bongs is like art... well it is art, but i never really realized how so until now

  • Who came back for the music???

  • @GregTheCreator the blowtorches youd find from say home depot wont work (ive tried believe me) and the flame is too small heat enough of the glass up to really work it

esp using pyrex which is designed to be heat resistant

  • Dude! That is so bad ass! The helical touch is too cool.

  • NIce work....

  • Hey im 17 and my brother is 21 and we want to get into glass blowing, can i get some help on finding a good beginner torch. Also where do you buy the glass from?

  • Comment removed

  • have you ever accidentally over blown the glass and had like liquid glass land on you jw

  • Wish i can make my own bong with Pentagram on it :)

  • How much do the raw materials cost? I mean, how much did it cost you just to make this piece, and how much did you sell it for?

  • @Dakukobura Cost Isnt to high as far as materials go the equipment will cost a pretty penny or three if you sell your pipes to a headshop they generally pay according to the piece some bongs are worth 15 bucks some are worth 1,000s.

  • @weedcountry420 hahaha funny concept..

  • no bullshit.. im definetly dooing with when i get older this looks very fun and FUCKING AMAZING this is my dream

  • This video lasted 15min in my head

  • Is it a lightsaber?

  • i need to try this out sometime, ive done alot of ornamental iron in my garage

  • i need to try this out sometime, ive done alot of ornamental iron in my garage

  • Can you make me a bong?

  • My dream job.

  • ive known a dude all my life whos a professional glass blower and he said once i finish my senior year of high school he'll take me under his wing and teach me and hire me at his glass shop

  • @srhstonersk8r its a also great idea to go to college and take courses on glass blowing, maybe one day yo wll be better than your teacher

  • Great talent these people have.

  • Anyone realize how he didnt add a hold for the slide?

  • when he like expanded the bottom part of the bong i like tripped the fuck out how the hell did he do that hahaha

  • I would be proud to own that bong!! Kudos to the blower!!!

  • Heavy shit man.

  • BonginTV serious question here--how much does it cost to get into glass blowing? Is it difficult to learn? I've always been amazed with this craft...

  • @joejumps4fun: I don't can tell "how much it is", is is like any other handicraft, go to school, them learn from some master and improve yourself, then you can buy your own equpment and start to make own products (and sell them of course).

  • @BonginTv Now that's what I'm talking about! But the question was out of curiosity as I have many hobbies and some I've given up because they were too expensive for myself to continue pursuing (skydiving). Now I know how this could pay one back, depending on what they make and what the market is in that person's networks...*cough* pipes *cough* haha! :)

  • @BonginTv Hey man. Could you teach me how to do this? I wanna make ACTUAL homemade glass bong's. Or if you can't teach me, do you know a school, or anybody who can?

  • @BonginTv You said "i dont can tell" and "go to school in the same sentence, just kill yourself.

  • @1CLight he probly ment i can't tell... dude just stop being a grammer nazi its not cool.

  • @1CLight ur a faggot

  • @joejumps4fun I managed to get set up from scratch for roughly $2000. $2200 or so if I had gone with the better torch I was looking at. This includes a Paragon SC2 kiln at $600ish, and the Sundance #420 pipemakers kit for $420, and then I spent some on propane and oxygen (had to pay a deposit, and then I have to pay for the cylinder exchange) plus a new propane regulator. The rest I spent on other tools not included in the kit, and especially heavy-wall borosilicate tubing/rods of all sizes!

  • Could you tell me is german glass any good?

  • Dang what kind of glass is that ?

  • sorry if its been asked, but whats the song in this video? i like it alot

  • when i see people using acrylic bongs i get realy upset

  • 3.5mm glass = COMPLETE SHIT!! one tap on anything and *poof* $85 down the drain

  • @anytingbu hmm, so tell me vhy the Pyrex glass tea kettle are about 1mm thick, why laboratory tubes are about the same? You does not know shit about glass types and their physical properties and chemical composition. We are using quality Pyrex tubes, no cheap china glass and as I demonstrate on other video, it can held some hard hits. You can have 10mm thick glass and when it fall on the floor it can shatter much easier, thanks to its weight.

  • @BonginTv

Contrary to your belief, you do need thicker glass. Clearly a large customer base is being lost because of the lack of thicker glass products. That's just bad business.

  • @magicmark1292, maybe, but thicker glass tubes is also more expensive. We use thicker glass on large bongs.

  • @BonginTv I can understand that it is more expensive but couldn't just just raise the price of the pipe? I mean I would pay a little extra for a thicker glass bong like the ones you make. That way I know it wouldn't be broken just being handed over to a friend.

  • @BonginTv

Well good thing no wholesale glass companies sell anything thicker than 9mm..Maybe there's a reason for that. perhaps to negate anything you just said. Dumbass... i have a piece 7mm thick PYREX dropped it the same way on the same surface as a 5mm beaker we have in the shop... The 7mm is still in use today. The 5mm is long gone....Have u ever used science glass in science settings?its very easy to break. just cuz u use pyrex glass doesnt mean u can sell people extremely thin shit

  • @anytingbu: Again i will repeat, it is not "extremely thin", it is 2.8 mm thick glass on 32 mm diameter tube, which is used to be enough for a bong of that size. We make bongs for more than 10years long, and we have many reasons to stay with that material. We are not China. We using quality glass and we know what we do. Please read something about Bohemian Glass history.

  • I told my girlfriend I was going to turn down getting my residency as a PA for glass blowing as a joke. I'd never seen her so disapointed. I probably would have if I had the hands for it.

  • i really wish i knew how to do this, that would be so awesome, where does one learn how to do this skill?

  • Comment removed

  • @nuckinfuts32330 he has a web site the are $30 and more

  • too cool, nice job dude

  • When that noise that sounds like loose change comes on in the song i freaked out cause i thought change was raining from my ceiling.

  • bad ass! i think i know what my career is gonna be!

  • this is a stupid question, but why dosen the glass go black from the flame?

  • where do u get the glass you use?

  • @emorales00012 factory websites, its no easy task making any smoking piece

  • @emorales00012 sand hahahahahaha

  • where do you get the glass you use to make that?

  • Nice bong. Too bad you can't smoke it...

  • @i420NuGz says who?

  • wheres the bowl go :s

  • oooh so thats how its done... how about make a bong with perks.

  • 4:50 GIGGITY

  • its gotta be really rewarding taking nothing and turning it into something amazing

  • @nuckinfuts32330 price changes between 75-85 usd

  • OK, for everyone again. We are useing glass that are thick enough for purpouse of making a bong. It is no glass as glass, we are using Pyrex and final product is hard enough and lightweight.

Exatcly on this one bong we don't have any messages that brake accidently.

So, why we should use thicker glass? There is no good reason except better looking on video and some additional weight.

  • i want to learn to do this it looks amazing

  • Great work mate, that's awesome skill!

  • My dad had a bong blowing shop in a skate shop and was advertising it on the radio then he got busted by the FEDs but he would blow such sick shit!

  • Damn im hella high

i ment to say i like that theres no hate and its all about the video

  • I like how all the comments concern the video

    Fuck yes stoners.

  • awsome dude really want to get into the hobby/business where do u get your supplys like the gas then iv heard the torches are really the pricey part of the whole thing and another question does all glass need to be slow cooled in a forge. awsome bong

  • that was awsome

  • show how to make the part uu put the weed in and also where do yu get the torch

  • How much would finished product retail for?

  • I don't think that percolators are factory made because I have apiece that is hand blown glass and it has two percs in it. on mine it looks like the the percs were made separate from the bong and put together while the bong was being blown

  • how much money in butane do you go through in a day or so ?

  • were do you put the herb? ;(

  • That glass looks awful thin...

  • @HoboJIm117 there is no reason to use thicker glass

  • @BonginTv Really?

I was under the impression that thicker glass would make a sturdier piece, but I may be mistaken. Could you enlighten me?

Not trying to be flippant or disrespectful, just an interested viewer :D

  • @BonginTv Wouldn't thicker glass provide increased durability?

  • @ishthealaskan if your 15 and carry a bong around in a back pack yea a thicker one would be better. but there no need for thick glass usually if u drop em they break thick or thin...

  • @BonginTv except the thinner the glass is, the easier it will break.....

  • @BonginTv And that is why exactly?

  • @BonginTv

Using thicker glass will help it not break if it falls over that glass is thin and i wouldnt pay more than 25 bucks for one of those bongs!

  • @richiedeleo pyrex is soo strong stronger than your car window probibly.

  • @BonginTv yeah, durability.

  • @BonginTv

reason is so it last. unless you make you stuff so it will break eventually.

  • @BonginTv ... I've been reading all the comments about glass thickness and I have to agree with everybody else. Just because there is a 1mm tea kettle doesn't mean your bongs dont need to be thicker. I want thicker bongs for a number of reasons: accidentally banging on the side of the sink, something else falling over onto it, appearance, weight (yes, I want a heavier bong). When you say "there is no reason to use thicker glass" you are stating your opinion, not a fact.

  • how do u get in to making these? like take courses?

  • Song Please!!!!!

  • real time please I am too fuckin high to watchit in fastforward damn

  • I am so into that,I would love to make my own glass!

  • how long does it usually take?

  • that was amazing. but i didnt see him make a hole for the downstem?

  • glass blowing is fucking amazing i hope to learn how to do this in the future

  • im just starting glass blowing and im really low on money whats a good suggestion for a cheap torch that will last in the long run im looking at a national 8M but wondering if theres better

  • wow I just got into lampworking and I think to do this is going to take me some serious practice haha and you make it look easy hats off to you man. Thanks for sharing

  • i would actually want to learn this. i love all art and this is one that i would like to learn! supper awesome to watch this stuff

  • @spheret those are machine crafted and then blown into the design. @bongintv thanks dude I love watchin artists. Im actually going to be starting on some hand blown jewelry soon enough, to work my way up, and your video made me smile.

  • i just ordered this bong and i cant fucking wait for it to get here!!!! hopefully it will be soon. 10-20 business days =[

  • Song name?

  • WOW! That's impressing as hell!

  • How long did this actually take? Very cool I really want to learn glass blowing.

  • How do u become a glass bong blower?

  • Good job, thanx for the instruction...copied your idea for a wood tool rack too..came out nice Harmonicapete,Maine

  • You are amazing at what you do? Do you have like a website or something where someone could look at all work? Also, do you do custom pieces?

  • @mitchykinsxx Lol, you just asked a private glass blower if he does custom glass. Do you need a smart pill to help you start your day?

  • @BonginTV i am going to start glass blowing soon and i was just wondering.. how do you get the glass on glass to be 14 or 18 mm every time. i was just wondering because that is one of the things i still dont know.

  • i feel like that base is gonna be really thin..

  • amazing skills... is it just bench cooled? or do you just let it cool then blow downstem hole? how thick is the initial glass? like 1 1/2 inch? again awesome work!

  • Would you be able to make percolators and whatnot? Seems pretty hard, and I would like to see the process.

  • @spheret I dobt that perculators are hand-made. Is much more likely that they are prefabricated parts in the factory.

  • @BonginTv wat do you need to do wat u do

  • @BonginTv pretty sure al the parts of the perc are glass blown and joined together

  • @BonginTv no ive seen perculators hand-made you just gotta use certain techniques

  • @BonginTv no :[

  • How long have you been at this man?

  • I bet you have the coolest bong at your house =)

  • I bought two bongs from you guys a year ago and they are awesome. The crazy thing is that you guys are cheaper than most of the headshops....Even after shipping costs. I'm really interested in glass blowing as a serious hobby or job. If you know where I can find someone to be an apprentice to in Maryland, let me know!

  • Wow now I know why a good piece costs so damn much. You have given me a new respect for blowers I thought they were just assholes that over priced their shit but now I know it must cost a lot of money to keep torch running and it looks like it takes a lot of skill to make glass like that. Keep it up.

  • @jramos990 - You gotta remember, the mark up in price is from the actual stores. If you were lucky enough to know some blowers they'd tell you they sell their products for way cheaper than you see at the store.

  • I got one similar to that, sort of bend on the tube... is that on purpose, smoke design? Thanks for the vid.

  • Have you ever just burned the holy shit out of yourself?

  • @sk8terboy447 stupid question

  • how bad does it hurt to inhale instead of blow???

  • Just bought a small buddy...thanks

  • How expensive is it for you to blow glass? Cost of supplies?

  • do your hands and wrists get tired?

  • damn thats sweet. how much?

  • lol nice kuttroff xD

  • U GUY NEED TO MAKE A MUSHROOM BONG CHEAP K

  • damn nice... I wish there were a craftsman like these near where I live =(

  • Where's the stem hole?

  • @Chargeglass glass on glass female part is made and joined to the glass body after it cools slightly. I am going to include this part in some of the next clips...

  • @BonginTv you should make the next clips

i love watching these but theres very few good videos on you tube

  • Man, i love you for showing us how you do it.

    you're a King !

  • @tanksta0wns hank you for your tip with green apple, we will see what we can do ;D
