I have some parakeets in my house..sweet little birds. I rarely notice their incessant chirping anymore..unless they are like being really really loud..but ill be chatting online, or on the phone and people are like holy crap dude..are your cats eating your damn birds?? XD...
Now..imagine how loud they are when I personally think they are loud
Birds will nest anywhere. Where I work, there is a big sign on our building with our company name on it. There has got to be about 30 birds all together that nest in there. They are always coming and going and because I live in the middle of a big city, they are not afraid of people. Just thought I would comment about my own experience with birds. =)
2 weeks ago,i was driving to my school and suddenly a bird came flying very fast to my windshield and bumped in it and suddenly dissapeared...i hope he's not hurt.....
it's impressive how much little spaces birds can enter....
That's nothing to the rural city in Washington I grew up in...we just put in a really small pond, and not sure if it was the pond or what, but a moose spent the winter in our front yard, like 30 feet away from our front door.
A full blown male moose...sitting in the snow every morning...I was like 10 so I was kind of scared that I would get rushed...I mean that's a huge animal.
Shiver me timbers! Thar be birds on the Poop Deck!
There pretty loud. But at least the momma bird isn't pecking at you, as you said. My friend's toy dog was attacked by a Blue Jay who was instinctively protecting it's nest. That dog ran for it's life. I never knew something so small could be so vicious.
Yes, your doing a bang-up job. Whatever small achievement makes you feel better about yourself. But really MENSA needs you now, go tell them about your achievement, my friend.
most birds actually do that as a defense. They try to distract you from the babies. I've stumbled upon a nest before and the parent faked being injured and was hopping around until we were far enough away that I could no longer hear the babies and then it was gone.
I'd be worried that one of the birds would get across the mains wires in there and start a fire. If I could hear them inside, it would drive me crazy.
It`s a nice view from your apartment :) And the nesting place is really cool too `couse sometimes is beyond your imagination where the birds can get in and nest.
I used to have a parrot and those birds, strangely, are louder! haha!
