@bmpowell More money, more fame, the chance to work in a bigger tv market, the availability of more support staff, more abundant and more modern state of the art equipment, better educated more professional people. Most professionals want to make it to the top of their game. That means reporting or anchoring in a major city. True, there are some who are content making $40K a year in a cubicle in a dead end job so they can get home in time to watch Wheel of Fortune. Some just lack talent.
