@metalheadbassist123 Its mind blowing... get it! like now! Don't wait ...order now! Just kidding.... Its a very clever and very Musical instrument. The user interface is simple and to the point. The moog little Phatty is a great synth for beginners and for professionals and home studio users.
hey im actually trying to decide between these two keyboards, what would you recommend? I'm mainly an electro music producer (which is why i like the little phatty, the massive amount of awesome and unique sounds you can make, and still has midi capabilities). But the limitations of the lp are obvious (3 octaves, and monophonic), but the S61 isn't a mind blowing analog synthesizer....
Any input?
Good vid btw, much much much better than most of the other demo vids out there
Thanks Much. I Know, i wanted one bad to. I just used credit and paid it off with in a year. and No interest either. Just keep saving. Hope you get can get one soon.
oh man, I'd love a little phatty and I can get the money together, but I was planning on buying a juno g, the little phatty just can't do some of the stuff I need...
screw it, I can't resist the lurre of the little phatty, I keep watching the same videos of it over and over again, the Juno G can wait, I need that synth ASAP.
well, if you want to save up money for a moog Little Phatty and want to get into real analog Synthezisers, thats your best bet. And a Moog Little Phatty is a perfect choice for a beginner. The Korg R3 and Korg Microkorg have a totally different synth engine and can be at times complex to program your own sounds(patches) but offer more features and more complex sounds. Good luck in your purchasing decision.
There's also a Minimoog (esque) voice on the Fantom-S called 'Tristar' witch i use sometimes because my minimoog's contacts are worn. It sounds like it's permenantly wolf whistling.
Yes, I know that from the description. I was just curious to know which patches in particular. I have an LP OS 2.00 as well, and am familiar with a lot of the patches. The first one kinda sounded like FOR WAKEMAN.^_^
how good is the moog little phatty stage 2?

the fantom sounds like shit, sell it and get an analog poly
cprostudio 9 months ago
@cprostudio No, the audio sounds like shit. Not the Roland. I used a bad Mic set-up coming from my Video camera. Oh well, Live and Learn i guess.

i wanna start to play the synthezisers
i have money to buy the korg r3 or the microkorg but i want the little phaty what do u recomend to me?
- buy the microkorg, because a little phaty is not for a beginner.
- buy the korg R3, because is better than the microkorg and the little phaty is not for a beginner.
- save money to buy the little phaty, u wont be regret of this synth.
if a have to save money it take me 1 year to have the cash (to buy the little phatty u know)

try ebay, i just bought a little phatty for $670, thats like half price! look into it and good luck

i got an r3 a few months ago for around $500 new. maybe i could sell it for around the same price and get the little phatty!
i love my r3 but i'd definitely prefer a real analog synth for that price.
mindphlux 2 years ago
Its rare to find a moog little phatty for that price. But you never know. I paid $1150.00 for my little phatty and well worth the price.

Could you please do "On the Run" with the internal arp?

Lol is there actually a Wakeman patch on the little phatty? I'm a model D minimoog owner, and that patch would save alot of time lol.

Is that the FOR WAKEMAN patch?
Voltor07 3 years ago
NO, Just some patches that came with the moog and roland fantom S 61.

Voltor07 3 years ago
Oh Ok. I used Ultraline patch 16, Brassish Lead patch 18, DoneMini NH Patch 19, BrauvaMoog NH Patch 41, RhooBarb NH Patch 61.
These patches are from Moog Little phatty Tribute edition. I have the software that can change patches from Stage and Tribute ed.
On the Roland, I just setup a drum patch on 10 keys and Piano patche that play together. a spilt keyboard function.

Oh...cool! Thanks for answering! Do you also post on the Moog Music forums? I can be found there, under the same user name as here.
