@iJealouzy The admission price is outrageous, and if you show up at the wrong time of year you'll see nothing. The food sold there is also very expensive. I went there regularly as a tour bus driver, and could never figure out why people would pay so much to see plants.

The spring colors are breathtaking- much nicer than when I was there the end of June. The cool spring this year kept many of the summer blooms from opening at that time.

One of the greatest things about this garden is that it must have inspired the whole city to look like this. Everyone in Victoria has yards that look like this. Victoria is the most beautiful city in the world!

This is something everyone should see before they die. I took my wife and children here to ask for my wifes hand in marriage. We stood in one of the green grassy fields as the wind gently touched our faces, and the children smiled and danced near some Alstroemeria, Peruvian lillys and miniature rose. I took a knee and kissed her saying I would stay with her and keep her company and safe from harm. She is the flower of my heart and it blossoms every day to remind me of her. These flowers are WOW

One time when grandma came to visit we took her to Butchart Gardens. It was fun being with grandma, and it was pretty and such, but man that place is boring when you're a 9 year old kid.

This was very well done, absolutely superb. Good work, great photos. It is an incredible amount of work to maintain such beautiful gardens. I'm glad that there are still people who will work so hard to do so. My generation has mostly given up on gardening, as it is too much dirty work (around insects, getting your hands muddy, etc.) I hope these gardens are preserved.

They are beautiful gardens. When do you hit the road? I am curious to see what it is like to drive in Canada, so I look forward to hearing about your experiences. I am a Aussie driver currently working in UK. They are always advertising for truck drivers to work in Canada, however I wonder if the ads are genuine or immigration scams.
