  • too bad the closed captions thing wasn't enabled for this one

  • yes

  • are all the people in this video victims of rabies?

  • Quit complaining ppl :I

  • QUIEN LO TRADUCE A ESPAÑOL'??

  • People who experiment on animals should be experimented on.

  • damnit! why cant ebglish be the only language on earth? lol

  • @kylebakersanangelo

Because all the English did was to invade and kill innocent natives... big accomplishment, right?

  • @bcta302 Do you enjoy where you live and is English the main language spoken there? If so and for some reason you hate anything "English", why not move to a place like northern Pakistan? Perfect place for a leech like you.

  • @kylebakersanangelo ??????????? were you vitamin deprived when being a baby?

  • film would have more interesting with subtitles, and it cuts off before the ending.

  • @AnnaLifeTV Im not a faggot, self-explanatory huh?

  • @AnnaLifeTV i hope he dies from it

  • I don't understand his language.

  • Rabies is a demonic lie to give rear. Satan gives fear, God give love, and truth. Truth will never give fear. Fear causes humans to give Mercury, and formaldehyde to humans, and pets calling it good. In California, and elsewhere vaccinations should be illegal to give to any living thing right now. Want heath, and to avoid many things? upcspine U,C,S, care practitioners in your state. Do this right now not waiting for a problem to develop is best. Vaccinations are poison for humans, and your pet.

  • me and my friends found a beaver that was brought to school for anatomy in the woods the day after and it has been dead for a couple of days,we poked it with a stick and it just barely tapped the tooth/mouth of the beaver, there were no visible or large amounts of substances from the beaver on the end of the stick but it accidentally scraped up against my shirt and pants, idk if i touched that spot and touched my nose/mouth/eyes though, should i be worried about rabies? btw its a hot summer day

  • @Qweeftastic you got it for sure, GOD DAMN STICK!

  • @ShooterMaGavin im guessing that was a sarcastic comment?

  • @Qweeftastic yes qweefy

  • i wish they would let the patient smoke a joint, i would like to see the results,,maybe they would drink and no foam stuff would form..

  • my dick has rabies

  • I think i have rabies and i am hydrophobia. I only take a shower once a week.

  • @55mautak lol

  • @55mautak me i take shower once in a 2yr :)

  • @55mautak you are an idiot this is serious you immature.

  • @55mautak dude, your joke was awesome but please.... have mercy mother fucker

  • @danielxdglaciuus ooohh im sorry.PENCIL DICK.

  • מפחיד!

  • Do like they did to old yeller bullet to the head and call it a day. Yes its sad but there is no cure nothing you can do for them might as well make worm dirt out of them.

Fuck if I would want to live like that just put a bullet in my head and kick some dirt on me!

  • 合理合法的饲养宠物是你我的责任,尤其是中国!

  • The best think to do is a drug induced coma, or massive morphine overdose. morphine cheap. Yes I am all for assisted suicide or in this case just speeding up what is going to happen anyways without torture. There has been only 6 person surviving symptomatic rabies, but it is unheard of in most part of the world due to cost

  • @carl1124

Oh no, human euthanasia is too barbaric, and far too evil, we should try to force those people to live as long and as painfully as they can! I don't get the whole "oh no, assisted suicide is wrong" idea, if they are terminally ill, stop the pain! Our cats have more say over their lives that we do at the end of our times. Pathetic, isn't it?

  • The best think to do is a drug induced coma, or massive morphine overdose. morphine cheap. Yes I am all for assisted suicide or in this case just speeding up what is going to happen anyways without torture.

  • Infected humans/animals avoid water and get cramps just by plain sight.

As far as I know, both dysphagia and hydrophobia are caused by the virus slowly degenerating and changing certain areas of the brain. A third effect is an extreme hypersensitivity to sounds and lights. They tend to have angry outbursts when confronted with sudden lights or sounds. (I just wonder how that could be seen, since they're angry pretty much all the time...)

  • About the white foam: The virus also blocks swallowing. For the same reason as it causes fear of water. People can't swallow their own saliva anymore.

  • @sanni3003 I think the hydrophobia comes from the severe dysphagia, but I may be wrong??

  • @sanni3003 Also, I think the virus causes the glands that produce saliva to produce more and that is why they foam at the mouth.

  • @Suikotsu no rabies virus causes paralysis in the throat that's why they cant drink and cant even swallow their saliva,it's a very deadly and cruel disease so everyone should take dog bites serously.

  • Also, rabis is called "hydrophobia" - Fear of water. If you want to test an animal without getting close, just pour out some water in his direction or squirt it and check its reactions.

  • @AF10X It's something in the brain. The virus could be washed out of the bodysystem by drinking lots of water, so it actually reprograms the brain to avoid water at all costs. A side effect is a higher virus concentration in the infected's saliva, which adds to its efficiency.

Btw, There has been only one reported case worldwide of a rabies survival with only minor braindamage, and medicin is still baffled by that one. Noone knows how it worked. They tried to repeat it, without success.

  • @sanni3003 Also, I read somewhere that the virus damages the muscles in the throat.

  • speak english fuck head we don't speak spic.

  • @Goatballs4me arrogant. You think everybody in the world has to speak what *you* speak. Vel, ikke alle gjør det!

  • This is just a hyped up lie tell all in the wold in Sonoma county in Californian all over the world Rabies is a demonic lie. It should be illegal to give any vaccination to any one or any dog.vaccinates and pharmaceuticals root meaning is sorcery.;What you are getting is a lie stop this now I will die to protect my dog.I knew of someone that had to declare their dog dead so they would not have to give their dog those rabies shots or any

  • @kobidobidog : Kind of ironic that your acquaintance had to declare their dog dead to evade a rabies vaccine ...considering they'll have to euthanize it if it ever is bitten by wildlife or bite anyone.

Totally right about vaccines though. Especially that Polio vaccine in humans... we DEFINITELY should have let more children die and suffer from that preventable disease instead of virtually eradicating it from the world through all those vaccinations everyone got.

    Vaccines w00t!

  • hope to god someone would put a bullet in my brain if i had advanced rabies.

  • he must have his mercy kill......

  • shame he is talkin hebrew

  • I think there was one person who made a complete recovery from rabies.

  • @GodwinCarpenter I think there was 6 but only 1 that wasn't treated at all. That person must the luckiest son of a bitch ever..

  • @klsjafksjdfklsdfjkls A guy survived without any treatment? Damn that's like the same odds as winning the lottery...

  • @GodwinCarpenter Girl ;D

  • if i would be infected, i would ask for the syringe!

  • @RiderRohans Buddy, if you were infected, in the last 5-10 days, you'd beg for somebody to pour petrol over you and burn you.

But I'm afraid - doctors being "ethical" and "humane" - the obvious courtesy you'd give to any suffering animal would be out of the question and a few soothing words and a couple of prayers would have to do.

  • people or animals that have rabies are hydrophobia because it is hard for them to swallow things

    -i think...-

  • You're actually pretty much correct. Rabies affects the part of the brain that controls the throat muscles, and causes them to go into spasms when water is presented. These spasms can be excruciatingly painful, so the victim quickly learns to avoid even the mention of water.

  • @cadetgj Really? The sight of water can do that? Or even thinking of it? That's crazy...

  • @Chase92KM Sadly, yes, in some cases it can get bad enough to the point where even the sight of it can cause the spasms. Also, blowing air at someone with rabies can trigger the spasms in some cases. I actually read once that some doctors think that the throat spasms are the body's way of trying to stop the virus from being swallowed into the rest of the body (since it's in the saliva), but whatever the case, I can only hope that someday we'll be able to cure it or eliminate it.

  • why is it so difficult for them to drink liquids. I mean it seems very painful to them

  • HYDROPHOBIA

  • @DjMediaNoche001

Because their jaw and throat muscles become paralised by the virus.

That's why rabies-infected animals drool so extensively

  • Comment removed

  • Man.....give them peace and put them out of their misery. It's unfair to make infected animals and humans have to suffer the symptoms to a full extent.

  • A man recently came out of a year-on-year coma when the deed to take out his feeding tube was given only days beforehand. I'm all for letting people and animals be put out of their misery if there is no hope - but the line at which there is no hope is a hemline. Noone can really tell.

The huge majority of rabies do not survive. But some, a tiny minority, do. I just don't believe we should whip out the needles all the time.

  • so your saying we should allow the majority of people, who are going to die, to suffer the full extent of rabies just to save a few people who might pull through?

  • Rabies is not cureable beyond a certain point. But you'd be surprised that the vast majority of rabies cases go through the full extent and then die, for all of your disagreeing with it, anyway.

Where treatment is even the simple silver lining of a dark, ominous FUCKING cloud of death, take that silver lining, and grasp it. Realistically. Every single time.

For every single little person who just *might* pull through, yes. But it depends on the problem, first and foremost. Again, hemline.

  • And this guy no doubt has irreversible brain damage. Chances of survival are pretty much 0%...

With disregard to one survivor, this a disease you wouldn't want to survive.

  • @psychic13 Of course. When the symptoms take place, (at least those characterizing irreversible brain damage) then yes, you would not want to survive it and remain life as a vegetable.

    .... Or would you?

Perhaps you should ask the person. : )

  • @Curoch

I agree... Let them go in piece...

  • @Curoch you are totally right, but them that becomes a moral an ethical matter that is very difficult to decipher, I know that if in there shoes I would want to be terminated or euthanized. sad

  • its hebrew!

  • wat language is this?

  • At 4:13: Why did that bitch, who calls herself a nurse, have to torture that child with water? If rabid persons even see water, they get very painful cramps in the throat muscles. Putting the child into a coma and allow her or him to die in peace was too expensive, I suppose.

  • seriously why not shoot the kid...or why not put the kid in the comma and help him! like that girl that is the only servivor of rabies

  • @hanmaenen She wasn't torturing anyone. She was trying to give him water as the human body needs it and we don't know if the patient could take needles with saline solution.

  • @hanmaenen

Why does that happen? What causes rabid people to get throat spasms when they see water? Is it just something ith the brain? Or does the water have an effect that triggers the spasming at only sight of the water?

  • @AF10X I only know that the virus destroys the brain and that causes bizarre symptoms, one of them is hydrophobia. The answer to the question should be found on the internet, google for 'rabies'.

  • @hanmaenen

Oh no, human euthanasia is too barbaric, and far too evil, we should try to force those people to live as long and as painfully as they can! I agree, I think she should be punched in the face, multiple times.

  • @hanmaenen ppls bodies get really ho when they have rabbies and very dehydrated. natualy ppl who are dehyrated need water. get your shit together dumb fuck.

  • @32middlelinebacker In the first place your English is atrocious. Second, people can be given fluids by needle, and that should have been done in this case. People who suffer from rabies can not drink water; any attempt to do so is extremely painful; forcing them to drink is torture. Third, you can stick your abuse Uniform Yankee and you can Foxtrot Oscar as far as I am concerned.

  • @hanmaenen do you have your science degree specializing in diseases of the brain? no i didnt think so! but i sure as hell do! suck it wanker face! and p.s you dont have to have good at typing to be smart. dink.

  • @hanmaenen It's a test to confirm the diagnosis, also they get dehydrated and need water.

  • @emjaiz This 'test' is torture and unnecessary. He needed water, but that should have been given by needle. People suffering from rabies can not be rehydratred by attempting to make them drink water, as they can't drink.

  • @hanmaenen It's not the fact that they need water, they would give water via drip. The reason for giving them a cup/bottle of water is to confirm their diagnosis, because rabies victims tend to have hydrophobia aka the fear of water. This test is efficient and easy and almost always is accurate. It's not cruel, it's to confirm if they are suffering from rabies in the first place, although it may appear to be upsetting; it is only for their own good.

  • @hanmaenen You want to be 100 percent certain someone has Rabies and not something else, one way to do that is by offering water, this type of hydrophobia is only seen in one disease, Rabies. If you offer someone water several times and they react like that, you can be certain they have the disease.

  • alaaaaa fregada!! no le entendí nada

  • quien habla español?

  • en que idioma esta esto cuate?

  • me gusta comer dulces?

  • que triste..

  • this is in hebrew..

  • is this yehodiot ahronot hebrew or haaretz hebrew?

what does yehodiot ahronot actually mean?

does it mean "daily jew" or something?

  • what do you mean?

like hard hebrew or regular hebrew because this one is a kind of good style talk hebrew

the haaretz hebrew is regular like slang and such..

  • i mean, is this sane hebrew (haaretz hebrew)

    or

    insane hebrew (yehodiot ahronot hebrew)?

  • sane

  • we in serbia killing all dogs and cats, thats why we almost eradicated rabies and lyssa virus. Dr of veterinary medecine.

  • its not the rabies in dogs you should be afraid of in serbia. its the rabies in serbs like mladic and milosevic thats trouble!

  • we in the philippines, eat dogs and cats,

  • as long as their cooked well it doesn't matter.

  • not worth risking your life eating cooked rabid dog or cats. ;p

  • Drahc88 is the only one who eats dogs and cats maybe a house rat too, in philippines.... filipino don't eat that kind of thing!!

  • in understandable languige plizzzzz...

  • Rabies is on the rise in the U.S.

Check out our channel for more info.

  • It doesn't exist in England!

  • it does world wide. its just not aired in public.

  • it exsists BIG TIME in england were never more than 10 feet away from a rabid animal

  • No...you are thinking about the statistic where we are never more than 10 ft away from a rat. Britain has been Rabies free since before the 1st World War.

  • mhm, its the statistic said a few years ago about britain, do you mean britain hasnt had anyone die of rabies since the first world war? cause thats pluasable with the vaccine avalable, but it is a statistic for britain so we cant be rabies free

  • Britain's not had anyone dying of rabies caught in Britain since WW1 (plenty that have died in British hospitals after catching it abroad). However, it seems that about 1 in 10 of the native Daubenton's Bat population has the Lyssavirus antibody present (a nasty little variant of rabies). As they hibernate between September to April, the risk to humans is minimal, but it has resulted in two deaths over the last ten years (one a bat handler).

  • but thanks anyway usualy when people disagree there kinda assholes lol, your one of the few that arnt XD

  • i dont know how match humns withrabis i know dogs die after 2 weeks

  • In every animal, humans included, it varies.

  • it takes a while for rabies to infect a human... say you got bitten in the leg... it will take about 1-2 years till the symptoms show... but when they do, its inevitable that you will die. It has no cure and those shots they give you arent full-proof.

  • that is so not true, if you get bitten then if you dont get a vaccine in 72 hours then yyou have no hope and the sympyoms show up after about 3 weeks

  • cant even understand the thing!!!!!!

  • Such a horrific disease!! It looks like such a painful way to die we all need to be proactive in preventing this!!

  • can we get this in english translation please i can't understand it.

  • This has been a Walt Disney production

  • i read theres only been 6 people who have survived rabies and 1 person who has survived it without treatment b4 and after.

  • Just an update: look for a brazilian boy, he may be the second person ever to survive rabies without vaccine.

  • Crap video, disappointing given the faces of death type production

  • If your Uncle Jack helped you off an elephant, would you help your Uncle Jack off an elephant?

  • Ha! Ha! nice one!.....my Uncle probaly would of before he shot it 'cos he's nice like that

  • True Charmas a bitch!!

  • if u r bitten by a dog, observe the dog for 2 weeks... if the dog died then you will lose your mind.. hehe but there is an immediate cure, a serum that is injected for at least 3 times to boost your immune system but the serum is so expensive.. the human infected with rabies will survive but they are already insane... so if you are bitten by a dog, make sure that you will have your anti rabies vaccine or else you will end like a brain dead person...

  • Uhhh.. whoever said this was French.. definitely not.. at least the speaking isn't.. the text before and so.. oui :P c'est français!

  • Sounds Arabic

  • Actually it's Hebrew

  • conver - No.. usually symptoms will occur within a few weeks.. once symptoms occur.. death will usually happen after about a week or two.. IF you get post exposure prophylaxis treatment before symptoms occur, your chances of survival are (I believe) nearly 100% if not that, very high.. So the most important thing is.. if you THINK you've come in contact with any type of rabid animal.. see a doctor! If you can.. capture the animal and tell authorities to test it for rabies..

  • do rabies virus incubation can go long as 8 to ten years?

  • question guys.

once human is been bite by a dog or cat.

who carry rabies. how many days they will

survive if the human is not vaccinated?

  • 2 to 10 days.

  • I don't know about 2 to 10 day I would given them a lethal injecton sraight away.

  • you have a about 74 hours, tel you get the vaccine

  • The incubation period (between date of bite and first symptoms appearing) is on average about 1-3 months but the range is 10 days to up until several years. Once symptoms start, death usually comes in about a week.

  • question guys.

once human is been bite bay a dog or cat.

who carries rabies. how many days they will

survive if the human is now vaccinated?

  • this version is in hebrew ' translated from french. i cant get the original version/ nevertheless the pictures tell the rabies story. i teach my student with this movie about the dangers of rabies, and my clients about the fact that cats too can be rabied' so they must be vaccinated too

  • This was made by the French vaccine company that had developed the cell diploid rabies vaccine in the 1970s, which was much safer than the old equine rabies vaccine had been. Thanks to them in most countries in the world now, you don't have to receive these injections in the abdomen just in the arm for post rabies exposure treatment. For that I'm thankful to them.

  • Is there an English version of this documentary? It sounds to me like Hebrew or Arabic the commentator?

  • It's french. Yes, is there an english version? I can get the gist but one of the detail.

  • Yes, I gathered had been made in a foreign country, but is there a version of this that has English subtitles? If anybody has got that version could they please upload to You Tube. Thank you!

  • Truly horrific to watch!
